You can remotely view footage and record live video in stunning HD resolution and clear sound quality to gather evidence on a smartphone anywhere in the world.
Imagine you are travelling and need to monitor your premises remotely. Launch the smartphone app to view events in real-time, manually record footage and/or take picture snapshots. MOTION DETECTION RECORDING WITH PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
The primary and most popular recording mode is motion detection with 50-feet detection range. When you leave the premises, you can enable motion recording from within the smartphone app and review the recorded video footage from within the app at a later convenient time.
Receive real-time push notifications to your smartphone whenever motion is detected. Ideal for scenarios when you absolutely must know the moment an event occurs. Launch the app, and LIVE view the activity as it happens.
The camera supports four different recording modes that can be enabled at the tap of a button. All video and snapshot evidence is securely stored with an accurate timeline of events. Please see the 'More Information' tab for further details.
As with all our WiFi cameras, the setup process requires minimal technical ability. You can be operational within minutes of opening the box. There are no messy wires or IP configurations; only a modern smartphone with internet connectivity is required. You receive easy-to-follow instructions plus access to our top-notch customer support should it be needed.

Unlike the many sellers of similar inferior products, who piggyback onto third-party apps, our cameras put real control back in your hands. UPGRADEABLE MEMORY AND SECURE CLOUD STORAGE
The Socket Lead is fitted with 32 GB of internal storage that is upgradable to a maximum of 256 GB upon request before purchase. In addition, from within the smartphone app, you can open an encrypted Cloud storage account where all your evidential video files are stored. Even if the camera is stolen or destroyed, you can still access all your stored video files from the cloud - anytime, anywhere.
WiFi DISABLED? NO PROBLEM.
You shall receive a 'camera offline' notification if the WiFi network drops out. The camera will continue monitoring the room environment and store motion and scheduled video files as per record settings. Although you cannot view the camera live during a WiFi disconnection, the recorded files will continue to be captured while the camera is offline. Recorded files will magically list within the smartphone app when the WiFi connection is re-established.
If there is no WiFi network available at the premises, consider purchasing a portable MiFi Dongle to provide a wireless 4G network to which the camera can connect. The camera can also connect to a smartphone's Personal Hotspot (tethering). See the 'More Information' tab for further details.
INVISIBLE CAMERA ID (SSID)
For peace of mind, the camera will not display its SSID when connected to a WiFi network, thus remaining out of sight to 3rd parties searching for connected WiFi devices on the network.

DO ALL SOCKETS FUNCTION NORMALLY?
Yes. All the sockets operate as normal to power other electrical appliances. It is recommended to power smaller electrical appliances, such as table lamps, laptops, etc., and not larger appliances like washing machines, fridges and Televisions.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO TELL THAT A SURVEILLANCE CAMERA HAS BEEN FITTED?
The camera is professionally fitted to the long edge and is neatly camouflaged. The audio compliments a high-quality Peizo-electric microphone built onto the board and purposely focuses on speech within the immediate vicinity.
HOW IS THE WIFI CAMERA POWERED?
The Socket Lead must be plugged into the mains to power the WiFi camera. There are no batteries or recharging required.
HOW EASY IS THE WIFI CAMERA TO SET UP?
You will need a modern smartphone with an internet connection. The setup procedure is very easy, and we provide clear instructions that will take less than a few minutes to be operational. You will also receive top-notch customer support if required.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CONNECTING THE CAMERA TO A WIFI NETWORK?
When the camera is connected to a WiFi network, your smartphone becomes the control hub for the camera, including; LIVE viewing and recording, taking picture snapshots, changing the recording mode between motion, manual and scheduled, changing the video resolution and enabling push notifications when motion is detected. You can also playback recorded video files, delete video files, and download recorded video files to your smartphone's camera roll.
You may grant other family members access to the camera by providing a secure URL which you can revoke at any time.
HOW MANY RECORDING MODES CAN I USE?
There are four different recording modes that you can select to use:
- Manual - You can tap the 'Record' or 'Screenshot' button when LIVE viewing.
- Motion - You can set the camera to record only when movement is detected (approx. 50-feet detection range).
- Continuous - You can set the camera to record non-stop.
- Scheduled - You can set the camera to record at a specified time and date. You can set multiple times and dates too!
All captured videos are stored within the app's calendar for easy navigation, which includes an accurate timeline of each captured event. You can record a copy and download that video evidence to your smartphone's camera roll.
I HAVE NO WIFI ON THE PREMISES. WHAT CAN I DO?
The camera can connect to any device that provides WiFi capability, for example, a 4G | 5G MiFi Dongle or a tethering hotspot. A MiFi dongle is a small device fitted with an active data SIM card (available to buy from many shops) to create an instant wireless WiFi connection. Likewise, a tethering hotspot provided by a second smartphone or tablet with a data SIM card is also suitable.
WILL THE CAMERA SEND PUSH NOTIFICATIONS TO MY SMARTPHONE WHEN MOVEMENT IS DETECTED?
Yes. This feature is ready to enable through the smartphone app. Once enabled, the camera will send a notification that will display on your smartphone whenever the camera detects movement.
THERE IS NO WIFI TO DEPLOY THE SOCKET LEAD; HOW DO I VIEW IT ON A SMARTPHONE?
The camera can connect to a 4G | 5G MiFi Dongle or a tethering hotspot if a static WiFi router is unavailable. MiFi dongles are fitted with an active data SIM card to create an instant wireless WiFi connection at the premises.
IS THE SMARTPHONE APP SECURE?
Yes. Although we do not develop the app, it is a very stable and secure system. Furthermore, the engineers have a license agreement to hold a server in the U.K, ensuring peace of mind that the camera does not route through unknown overseas servers.
HOW MANY WIFI CAMERAS CAN BE ADDED TO THE SAME APP?
You may wish to monitor several areas within the same premises; therefore, up to three separate cameras can be added to the app.
HOW CAN I ACCESS RECORDED VIDEO FOOTAGE?
The camera stores video and images to its internal 32 GB capacity (upgradeable to 256 GB upon request), which can be accessed via the app to playback, delete, or download to your smartphone's camera roll.
You may optionally open an encrypted Cloud account where your video files are stored and can be remotely accessed. If your camera is destroyed or stolen, you can still access your secure cloud files anytime, anywhere.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO VIEW THE CAMERA WHEN THE ROOM IS DARK?
The camera can handle low lighting conditions; however, the camera cannot view in the dark. The room must have some level of artificial light from a light bulb or invisible IR (infra-red) etc.
ARE THERE SOUNDS OR FLASHING LEDS THAT MAY ATTRACT UNWANTED ATTENTION?
No. This product is designed for the security and surveillance of your premises.
WHAT ARE THE CAMERA RESOLUTIONS?
LIVE streaming and downloading of video files are in HD 1080P resolution.
IF THE SOCKET LEAD IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE MAINS, WILL THE CAMERA STILL FUNCTION?
No. If the Socket Lead is disconnected from a mains power, the normal functionality of the socket and the WiFi camera will not be able to operate. The camera will automatically reconnect to the associated WiFi network when power is re-established.
CAN I MOVE THE SOCKET LEAD TO A NEW LOCATION WITH A NEW WIFI NETWORK?
Yes. The camera must first be erased from the current WiFi network and then set up on the new WiFi network. Full instructions are included.

I was a bit sceptical about the " phone only" access feature but it actually works very well, as does the remote viewing. The sound quality is also very good with none of the background noise you get with other some products or CCTV audio.

WANT AN EVEN FASTER DELIVERY? Expedited UK deliveries by 10:30 am and 12:00 noon are available for an additional fee, which is clearly shown during the checkout process. Orders must be received no later than 12 noon. If you place an order AFTER 12 noon, you will not qualify for expedited delivery.
SATURDAY DELIVERY Weekend deliveries between 07:00 - 18:00 are available for an additional fee, which is clearly shown during the checkout process. Orders must be received no later than 12 noon on a Friday. If you place an order AFTER 12 noon, you will not qualify for Saturday delivery.
For purchases to EU and other worldwide destinations, we use couriers by DPD, UPS, TNT and FedEx which are fully trackable.
A flat rate standard shipping fee of £40.00 applies for delivery between 6-7 business days depending on the destination, and £45.00 for expediated delivery between 4-5 business days depending on the destination.
Deliveries to EU and other worldwide destinations are not guaranteed by the timescales stated above, and will depend on factors that are outside our control. Parcels sent to EU and other worldwide countries may require a Customs Declaration attached to the outside of the parcel.
