WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF USING WIFI OVER GSM?

Many similar products that use mobile (cell) networks require a GSM SIM card to achieve remote listening/monitoring, which typically entails ongoing costs to ensure staying active and maintaining a reliable connection.  On the other hand, the Mains Powered WiFi Audio and Recorder achieves LIVE listening and voice-activated or continuous recording via any locally available WiFi connection.

Of course, the device needs to be located on premises with decent WiFi connectivity, for example, at your office studio or shop - and providing you are deploying for a lawful purpose, the opportunity to gather audio evidence to corroborate your suspicions can prove invaluable.

SMART RECORDING MODES

This advanced listening and recording product can be set to record constantly or in response to sound (voice-activated) in 1 or 5-minute durations per activation.  This means recording will commence and continue to record for the pre-programmed duration when sound is detected above the preset audio threshold level.

A push notification can also be sent to your smartphone, allowing you to launch the app and listen to what is being said in real-time.  Push notifications can be enabled/disabled in the app.  You will also have the option to download individual recorded audio files for safekeeping or as evidence.

MAINS POWERED FOR 'AROUND THE CLOCK' SECURITY

The USB Main Plug functions as normal to power/recharge small electrical appliances like smartphones and tablets.  And, due to being mains powered, the ability to listen LIVE is infinite.  In addition, the in-built 32 GB storage can accommodate approx. 2 weeks of total recordings to provide extremely long-term sound detection surveillance over months and even years before reaching full capacity.

HIDDEN SSID

Although the product connects to a WiFi network, there is no SSID transmitted either during the setup or when the device is connected to a network, thus remaining from discovery by 3rd parties searching for internet-connected devices.

NO WIFI?  NO PROBLEM!
