Landline Telephone Automatic Call Recorder; with Time and Date
This is a fully automatic, next generation Landline Telephone Call Recorder for capturing both sides of an incoming / outgoing call with super clear quality. There is no technical skill required, in fact the device doesnt even have an LCD display - simply connect the Landline Recorder to a working telephone line and press the power ON / OFF button and it is ready to operate.
LONG STANDY AND RECORDING TIME
Professionally hand built in the UK and measuring just 85 x 55 x 27 mm, this little 'black box' is integrated with a smart DSP processor and a fully rechargeable lithium battery capable of providing 100 days standby and 185 hours of recordable call storage (per charge). All telephone calls are recorded in chronological time and date in digital MP3 format and stored to the device's internal memory. Recorded audio files can be accessed on a Windows or Mac computer without any special software.
An example of standby / operational use: The device is capable of recording both sides of a landline call for up to eight (8) weeks automatically or during scheduled times of the week.. This is based on the Landline Recorder recording three (3) hours per day.
SCHEDULED RECORDING
The Landline Recorder can be instructed to record during scheduled times that you specify which also enhances battery performance. For example: You may want all calls to be recorded every day except on Wednesday's when you only want call recording between the hours 10:00am - 17:00pm. Another example: You may wish to record all calls except on Monday's between the hours 09:00am - 11:00am and then from 14:00pm - 19:00pm. The Landline Recorder schedule can be enabled for any day of the week Monday - Sunday, and up to twice a day too!

HOW IS THE TELEPHONE RECORDER POWERED?
The black box simply plugs directly into a spare working BT telephone wall socket but obtains power by an integrated fully rechargeable lithium battery.
HOW LONG WILL THE TELEPHONE RECORDER REMAIN POWERED FOR?
The overall time span will vary depending on a combination of standby and operational use however, a fully charged battery will provide up to 100 days in standby (standby = switched ON but not actively recording), and 185 hours of total recordable telephone calls.
CAN I SHEDULE THE LANDLINE RECORDER TO OPERATE ONLY BETWEEN CERTAIN TIMES?
Yes. By using the smart schedule feature you can instruct when the call recorder is to operate but also improves the overall battery performance too.
DOES IT LOOK A LITTLE ODD THAT A BLACK BOX IS CONNECTED TO A BT WALL SOCKET?
The idea of this product is to record your own landline calls without the inconvenience of having a boxed type of device plugged directly into the telephone therefore, it should not matter who queries a connected box in a spare room.
I'M NOT TECHNCAL. IS THIS PRODUCT FOR ME?
This Landline Telephone Recorder is designed for ease of use and no technical skill is required except for basic computer knowledge.
DOES THE TELEPHONE RECORDER SUPPORT TIME AND DATE?
Yes. Every day at midnight the Landline Recorder will automatically create a new date folder and all recordings made on that date will be stored within the associated folder with each recording showing the time and date. This means when you need to find a certain call recording, navigation to the correct audio file will be simple.
ARE THE RECORDED CALLS CLEAR WHEN PLAYING BACK?
Yes. Both sides of the telephone call will be clearly recorded in MP3 format which is compatible for play back using any standard computer media player.
Note: This Telephone Recorder will not cause any interference or noise on the line to which it is connected however, if it is placed in close proximity to other devices it is possible the components within the recorder may result in slight static on the recorded audio file/s but will not adversely affect the audio recording quality.
HOW DO I ACCESS / PLAY BACK CALL RECORDINGS?
Using the supplied USB cable, connect the black box to a computer (Windows and Mac compatible) to access the folders containing the recorded audio files.
I DONT HAVE A SPARE BY SOCKET. HOW CAN I USE THE PRODUCT?
If your BT telephone socket doesn’t already have a spare socket and there are no additional BT sockets in other rooms, then you will need to acquire a BT Splitter from any phone or computer shop.
I WANT TO RECORD MY CALLS FOR REFERENCE AT A LATER DATE HOWEVER, I HAVE ALSO RECENTLY RECEIVED THREATENING CALLS.
