The Wireless Doorbell Chime HD Surveillance Camera compliments our security equipment, providing a short term (one (1) day deployment) to actively monitor an entrance hallway, a gangway, or any other sheltered area to capture motion activated colour HD 720P video accompanied with clear audio and a time and date stamp for evidential purposes.
The Doorbell Chime is professionally engineered with a modern design with the camera lens situated behind the chime's fascia looking directly outwards when hooked to a wall surface.
Please Note: Due to the internal camera system and 32 GB storage capacity (enough to store 16 hours of HD video), the unit does not function as a Doorbell Chime.
EASY FITTING
Screw into the wall and then simply hook the Doorbell Chime onto the screw.
MOTION ACTIVATED RECORDING
The Doorbell Chime camera, by default, is set to record when motion is detected which is the most popular request by customers. The recording mode can be changed very easily via the supplied Widget software to motion recording, continuous recording, scheduled recording and even sound activated recording.
The Widget software is very easy-to-use and removes any complicated setup procedures which can normally be found on other similar recording products.
Powered by an internal high capacity 3'400 mAh lithium battery, the Doorbell Chime should only be used for short deployment use and can be fully recharged by computer or by mains power.
The Doorbell Chime is compatible for use with Windows and Mac computers. Video footage can be played back by simple connection to your computer via the supplied USB cable.

If somebody looked at the unit would it look unusual?
No. By visual inspection it is a doorbell chime as found in many establishments. Please bear in mind if the cover was removed or physically examined, only then it may appear unusual.
How do I mount the doorbell chime?
Simply fit a screw to the wall and hook the device on the screw.
Is the unit fully functional as a doorbell chime?
No. The internals have been replaced by the camera, power supply and memory storage.
How do I power the chime?
It is powered by its own fully rechargeable 3'400 mAh lithium battery which will provide approx 24 hours standby time. During this time, depending on movement and the recording quality settings, the standby time will depreciate, therefore, this device is best suited for short term deployment over an 8-9 hour period.
Where is the camera lens situated?
Cleverly fitted within the speaker grille fascia and directly looks outwards.
Does the chime record in high definition?
Yes. The video footage is selectable between standard 640 x 320 and HD 1280 x 720 resolution. When recording in HD mode, the footage has real sharp and vivid colours when used with good natural lighting.
Does the chime stamp each recording with a time & date?
Yes. This can be switched ON / OFF via the supplied Widget Tool software, as can the audio too!
Where are the video recordings stored?
The chime has 32 GB of internal memory capacity and this is where video files are stored to. The chime requires connecting to your Windows or Mac computer in order to play the recorded footage. There is no special software required to play the footage, but please ensure your computers media player is up to date. We also recommend downloading the FREE VLC player from videolan.org.
What happens when the area goes dark?
There is a setting within the Widget Tool software which allows you to set the recording mode to day lighting, low lighting, or auto switch lighting. Please note that low lighting should not be confused with night vision, and that selecting auto switch lighting mode will reduce the battery power due to the device constantly monitoring for changes in the lighting conditions.

For purchases to EU and other worldwide destinations, we use couriers by DPD, UPS, TNT and FedEx which are fully trackable.
A flat rate standard shipping fee of £40.00 applies for delivery between 6-7 business days depending on the destination, and £45.00 for expediated delivery between 4-5 business days depending on the destination.
