The Wireless Router can be placed in most indoor room environments and appear functional when connected to an ethernet cable (see our main images) or can appear to be switched OFF and not in use when, in fact, it is active and monitoring the premises. The camera can remain powered for up to 8 weeks. The Wireless Router is completely portable and can sit on a desk, a shelf, a window ledge, etc. When the camera is connected to a WiFi network, e.g., the home or office, you can remotely view and record live footage via the app on your smartphone from anywhere in the world - even when the room is in complete darkness. Motion detection, scheduling, snapshots, and push notifications upon movement are some of the amazing features. The Router has a high-quality 2-megapixel camera with 1080P video resolution accompanied by audio and a time/date stamp for evidence gathering or general CCTV security.

A brand new WiFi camera release, the Wireless Router with Night Vision Camera provides 'around the clock' video surveillance of your home or office. Although a dummy router, it can give the illusion of a functioning unit by connecting an ethernet cable, as our images show, or it can appear to be switched OFF when it is actually fully operational and monitoring the room environment. With the majority of homes and businesses owning a router and some premises having two to three routers, this unit will blend into the environment, sitting on a shelf, a desk or table, or even a window ledge.
SMARTPHONE APP-CONTROLLED
The Wireless Router Camera must be connected to a WiFi network, and the FREE app available from the Apple | Google Play Store is the controller of the camera with a user-friendly interface to navigate the app to remotely view and record video evidence on your smartphone from anywhere in the world. You can manually view or record a few minutes of footage and take picture snapshots for instant playback through the app or enable motion detection recording to store longer video files to a Micro SD card. Plus... the app has a built-in calendar for fast access to all stored video and snapshot content. Tap the calendar and navigate to a date to access archived videos and snapshots.
UP TO 8 WEEKS STANDBY WITH NIGHT VISION
The Wireless Router is supplied with 2x batteries that power the camera day and night for up to 8 weeks before a recharge is needed.
Note: The overall battery standby time will be reduced on factors including live viewing, recording, sending push notifications, etc. In our tests, we achieved approx. 30 days of active use with the supplied batteries using a combination of recording and push notifications before a recharge was required.
MOTION-ACTIVATED RECORDING WITH PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
Imagine when travelling, and you need to monitor your premises remotely. Launch the smartphone app to watch the camera LIVE, record footage and/or take picture snapshots manually. Why not let the camera do the hard work? Enable motion-activated recording and push notifications to instantly receive alerts to your smartphone when movement is detected. Was it something to be concerned about? Review the snapshot stored in the app and have confidence that movement recordings can also be safely stored as a backup to an SD card. Recordings are accompanied by audio and a time and date stamp for evidence.

EASY AND FAST SETUP
As with all our WiFi cameras, the setup is very easy! After fully charging the unit, you can be operational in 5 minutes. No technical skill is needed. No messy wiring, no IP configurations, and only a modern smartphone are required.
HIDDEN SSID
For peace of mind, the Wireless Router Camera does not display its SSID when connected to a WiFi network, thus remaining from discovery by 3rd parties searching for connected WiFi devices.
SD CARD BACKUP
The Wireless Router supports Micro SD cards up to 64 GB (maximum) and provides peace of mind that your recordings are safely stored if you accidentally delete the app from your smartphone or delete the camera from the app. Short burst video recordings and picture snapshots that are taken manually without an SD card can be accessed via the app's calendar for 7 days. Movement-detected video recording requires an SD card insertion due to the amount of storage required.
Note: Motion-detected recordings stored on an SD card can not be played back through the app. You must physically retrieve the card and playback files on a computer or other SD Media Player.

DOES THE WIRELESS ROUTER OPERATE AS NORMAL?
No. This is a dummy router and does not function as a WiFi router, but it can appear to be operating by connecting an ethernet cable to the rear of the device (as per our main images). Otherwise, it will appear unused and switched off - when it is actively monitoring your premises.
HOW IS THE WIRELESS ROUTER CAMERA POWERED?
Inside the unit is pre-fitted with 2x 2'600 mAh batteries that power the unit. There is no requirement to connect the router to mains power unless recharging the batteries. When recharging the unit, ensure the device is switched OFF. Charging takes approx. 8-10 hours, and an LED indicator will show when the unit is fully charged.
HOW LONG CAN THE WIRELESS ROUTER OPERATE ON BATTERIES?
With the supplied 2x 2'600 mAh batteries, the unit can remain standby powered for approx. 8 weeks from a single charge. Standby time = actively monitoring but not live viewing, recording or sending push notifications. 8 weeks is a fantastic standby time.
In our tests, using just the supplied 2x batteries, we comfortably achieved 30 days of active operation with a combination of live viewing, receiving push notifications upon movement and downloading recorded video files to our smartphone before a recharge was required.
MUST THE WIRELESS ROUTER BE CONNECTED TO A WIFI NETWORK?
Yes. The Wireless Router is designed to be connected to any WiFi network, for example, the home or office network. If no WiFi network is available, you can connect the Wireless Router to a portable MiFi Dongle or mobile tethering device.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE CAMERA TO SEE LIVE FOOTAGE?
The camera is controlled from your smartphone by the FREE app available to download from the Apple | Google Play Store. No computer is required - just a modern smartphone with 4G | 5G.
WHAT ARE THE RECORDING MODES OF THE CAMERA?
Motion detection is the camera's primary and most popular recording mode. You can disable the motion recording from within the smartphone app and manually record 'on the fly' whenever you wish, but only for a few minutes each time. You can also enable the 'Alarm Schedule' so the camera will become motion-activated only between the start and end times that you specify.
WHEN SHOULD I USE THE ALARM SCHEDULE INSTEAD OF MOTION-ACTIVATED RECORDING?
If you only wish to capture events between certain times of the day and preserve recording storage space, the Alarm Schedule feature provides better control. For example, if you wish to record motion between the hours of 14:30 - 16:00 pm but not outside these hours. Or should you suspect that the activity that you wish to capture takes place between the night-time hours of 22:00 - 02:00 am but does not require the camera to actively monitor outside of these hours?
HOW GOOD IS THE LIVE STREAMING AND RECORDING QUALITY?
As you are live viewing or playing recorded footage on a smartphone, the video quality is stunning! The resolution is displayed pin-sharp @ 1080P and 15 FPS (frames per second). Live movement may lag slightly behind real-time movement depending on the speed and stability of the WiFi network the camera is connected to, and because of the purposeful way, the camera maximises power consumption.
HOW DO I GAIN ACCESS TO THE RECORDINGS?
Manually recorded video footage and snapshots are stored and accessible through the smartphone app for 7 days without an SD card fitted. After 7 days, the recordings are erased. By inserting a Micro SD card (not supplied), the camera can then store recordings on the SD card, but the recordings are only accessible with physical access to the SD card. The card's contents can then be played back on a computer or other SD Media Player.
