Mains Powered GSM USB Plug; with 4G Audio LIVE Listening and Sound Detection
This functional mains-powered USB Charger Plug will power and recharge small home and workplace electrical items in a usual manner; however, a professionally fitted GSM SIM card with a sensitive audio microphone will allow you to dial the associated SIM number from a smartphone (or landline) to listen into the room environment clearly. There are no distance limitations; you may call the USB Plug from anywhere worldwide, and the microphone will pick up conversations and sound from approx. 20-25 feet around the Plug, without any humming, cracking or mains interference.
The audio sound is boosted further with superior clarity if you insert a pair of Apple AirPods. You will hear a noticeable difference when listening through a pair of Apple AirPods or other similar brands of earphones. Conversations are easily picked up at distances exceeding 25 feet, depending on the room ambience.
The device can be casually handled as a normal-looking USB Charger Plug. No batteries or recharging are required, thus providing extremely long-term mains-powered audio surveillance.
4G NETWORK COMPATIBLE
Please be aware of poor-quality imitations. In principle, they work, but low prices encourage shoddy workmanship and a poor lifespan. SOUND DETECTION FEATURE
This optional feature can be enabled/disabled by sending a coded text message from a smartphone to the USB Plug. Once enabled, the microphone will actively monitor the room level and call your smartphone when the microphone detects sound above a normal -50 Db threshold. When this feature is enabled, the microphone monitors audio levels in a heightened state and calls your smartphone whenever sound | noise | conversations are detected. This feature is an intelligent way to know when someone has entered your room or activity is taking place when you are absent.
Note: A 4G SIM card is pre-fitted; however, if purchasing the optional Sound Detection feature, you must top up the associated SIM card with credit (or any SIM card you use) for this feature to function. No top-up credit is supplied.
RECORD THE AUDIO AS EVIDENCE
If you wish to record the audio you hear through the GSM USB Plug, consider the iPhone / Smartphone Mobile Call Recorder. This clever device uses Bluetooth to sync with any Bluetooth 3.0 compatible modern smartphone so that the conversation you hear through the USB Plug's microphone can be recorded onto the Call Recorder device.
The Call Recorder's primary function is to record both sides of a mobile phone call. It works equally well with the GSM USB Charger Plug. The Call Recorder also works as a standalone digital voice recorder should you wish to use it as a further evidence-gathering tool.

IS THE USB CHARGER PLUG A FUNCTIONAL PRODUCT?
Yes. The USB Plug is fully functional to power and recharge small electrical items normally. It is recommended to power smaller appliances, such as desklamps and smartphones, rather than larger electrical items, such as fridges and TVs.
DO I NEED TO RECHARGE OR INSERT BATTERIES?
No. The USB Plug operates when connected to a standard 240 v mains power supply.
HOW DO I LISTEN TO MY ROOM ENVIRONMENT?
Once powered, call the associated SIM card (professionally fitted inside the device). The microphone will activate, and you will then be able to hear the surrounding audio clearly. The audio sound has heightened clarity if you insert a pair of Apple AirPods. Other brand earphones may be equally as good.
HOW LONG CAN I LISTEN FOR?
You may listen to the room environment for as long as you wish, but bear in mind that your call to the USB Plug is chargeable by the network from which you are calling. To save on calling costs, you can use VOIP (Voice Over IP), such as Skype.
WHAT IS THE SOUND DETECTION FEATURE?

IF I TRAVEL OVERSEAS, WILL THE USB PLUG STILL OPERATE BACK HOME?
Yes. Providing your smartphone has a decent signal, you can call the USB Plug from overseas. The USB Plug also accepts incoming calls from a VOIP (Voice Over IP) system, for example, Skype, making overseas calling charges negligible.
COULD I TAKE THE USB CHARGER OVERSEAS WITH ME?
The USB Charger Plug is 3-pins with 220 - 240 volt output. If the country you are taking the USB Plug has the same, for example, Singapore, it will work fine.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE USB PLUG IS REMOVED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY?
The USB Charger Plug will cease to work as a functional power plug and GSM audio listening.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECORD THE AUDIO THAT I HEAR?
Yes. We offer an optional iPhone / Smartphone Call Recorder product that syncs with any Bluetooth 3.0 compatible modern smartphone so that the conversation you hear through the USB Plugs microphone can be recorded onto the Call Recorder device. When it came to sound detection, there were some minor teething problems. At this point, I suspected that I just wasn’t going to be able to get this to work or get much of a response from the supplier at all. However, what actually happened was fast and efficient contact with S****, who was also speaking to an Engineer in the background as we tried to resolve the issue. Between us, we got both audio plugs working and noise detection in the room.
I can't say enough about the level of Customer Service here - they were really on the ball, as well as being friendly and professional throughout.
I can vouch for the quality of sound when calling the device to listen in, however I'm still trying to get to grips with the settings for sound detection - this isn't a flaw in the product, it just takes a bit of trial and error to set the right noise level that you want to trigger detection for - a passing lorry will be picked up when you don't want it to be for example.
Overall, really happy with the product. Initially, I was unsure about the price, but it's worth every penny, and I would definitely recommend them - with the caveat I mentioned above regarding setting the correct level for sound detection.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY
We offer an expedited delivery service (Monday through Friday) by Royal Mail Tracked 24 Signature and DPD Courier at their respective shipping costs.
Note: If you choose DPD for next-day delivery, your order must be received by 10:00 am to allow time for booking a collection.
SATURDAY DELIVERY
We offer Saturday delivery by Royal Mail Special and DPD Courier, provided your order is received no later than 12 noon on Friday. If your order is received after 12:00 noon on Friday, we cannot despatch for Saturday delivery.
Your parcel will be couriered and fully trackable by UPS or FedEx for orders despatched to EU countries and other worldwide destinations. If you have a specific preference of courier please let us know before placing an order.

Your parcel is despatched with an estimated delivery time of 4-6 working days and a flat shipping fee of £39.00.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING
Your parcel is despatched with an estimated delivery time of 3-5 days and a flat shipping fee of £49.00.
Deliveries to the EU and other worldwide destinations are not guaranteed within the stated timescales. Customs and Excise in the receiving country may subject your parcel to charges outside our control.
Sometimes, the delivery destination can exceed the flat-rate shipping fee. We try to absorb additional shipping fees; however, in a minority of cases, this may not be possible due to our small margins, and we may need to touch base with you before dispatch to discuss further options.
