A Voice Activated Smoke Alarm; with 75 Days Standby Time and 45 Hours Recording Time
This is a fully functional Smoke Alarm incorporated with a powerful digital voice activated recorder. The Smoke Alarm operates normally from a single PP3 battery (supplied) whereas the recording mechanism functions separately, and provides up to 75 days standby time and 45 hours of voice activated recording time.
The Smoke Alarm is self contained without any wiring required. Simply attach to any flat surface wall or ceiling within the environment you wish to surveillance - perhaps to capture an important meeting, interview, or dispute whenever the need arises. Due to Smoke Alarm's generally occupying an aerial position it is out of reach from being tampered with.
AUDIO ACTIVATED RECORDING
The recording mechanism can be started / stopped by a single push button. Once activated, recordings will commence when the microphone detects audio above a preset threshold within 25 feet of the unit. Each recorded audio file is saved in MP3 format to an internal four (4) GB flash memory - which is enough capacity to store a total of 144 hours of audio.
Voice activation preserves a longer battery life because recording is only triggered when sounds are detected, thus eliminating long silences and capturing only relevant audio.
An intelligent auto save function automatically stores the recorded audio once the battery drains without losing any important data.
To play back audio files simply remove the protected recording module from inside the Smoke Alarm and connect to your Windows or Mac computer via the supplied USB cable. Alternatively, you can recharge the recording module via the supplied USB mains plug. Recordings can also be stored to your computer, archived or emailed to other recipients.

Does the smoke alarm actually work as a real smoke detector?
Yes. The recording mechanism is completely separate and even from an external aspect, even close visual examination reveals nothing unusual.
How do I access the recording mechanism?
You need to open the device to see the recording module which is held in place by magnets. The recording device can be removed from the smoke alarm and recharged via computer or mains power supply.
How do I play back the recorded audio?
When the recording module is connected to your Windows or Mac computer, the folder which stores the recorded files can be accessed.
How long can the smoke alarm record for?
A full charge will power the module for up to 75 days standby time and hold 45 hours of voice activated audio. Please note that the standby time will be reduced as actual recording time takes place.
What is the storage capacity?
The module is equipped with a four (4) GB flash memory which is enough to hold 144 hours of total recordable audio.

SATURDAY DELIVERY
We offer Saturday delivery by Royal Mail Special and DPD Courier, provided your order is received no later than 12 noon on Friday. If your order is received after 12:00 noon on Friday, we cannot despatch for Saturday delivery.
Your parcel will be couriered and fully trackable by UPS or FedEx for orders despatched to EU countries and other worldwide destinations. If you have a specific preference of courier please let us know before placing an order.
STANDARD SHIPPING
Your parcel is despatched with an estimated delivery time of 4-6 working days and a flat shipping fee of £39.00.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING
Your parcel is despatched with an estimated delivery time of 3-5 days and a flat shipping fee of £49.00.
Deliveries to the EU and other worldwide destinations are not guaranteed within the stated timescales. Customs and Excise in the receiving country may subject your parcel to charges outside our control.
