The Ruckcam is an 'over the shoulder' body-worn bag camera to gather video evidence in most indoor and outdoor environments, and ideal for foot and mobile observational surveillance to capture fly-tipping, anti-social and criminal activities. The camera is professionally fitted using our invisible signature lens within the strap, and the positioning of the camera can be subtly manoeuvred up, down, left and right using your thumb. No computer or Digital Video Recorder is needed - your smartphone is the control hub for the camera via the encrypted app including start and stop recording, playback, erase and download recorded files to your smartphone's camera roll. The camera is powered from any Power Bank connected to a single tactically threaded cable inside the bag. Additionally, you can invite family members or team operatives to remotely view the camera in real-time on their smartphones from anywhere in the world. Ruckcam Body Worn Surveillance Camera; with WiFi | 4G LIVE Viewing and Recording
The Ruckcam's unisex design makes it ideal for foot and mobile observational surveillance by either a male or female and introduces features and functionality to help capture evidential footage of anti-social and criminal activities. You can be travelling on a train, sitting in a coffee shop or walking around rural areas; however, the real work is being done by the Ruckcam - continually gathering HD film footage accompanied with audio and a time and date stamp. No computer or Digital Video Recorder is needed - your smartphone gains access to the camera menu and settings, including viewing LIVE footage (helps to achieve good camera angle and field-of-view), start and stop recording, instant playback and erase and/or downloading of video files to your smartphone's camera roll.
SIGNATURE INVISIBLE LENS
Each Ruckcam is meticulously hand-built and professionally fitted with our invisible signature lens to bypass close visual scrutiny. The Ruckcam is entirely self-contained and provides hands-free body-worn surveillance. Due to the placement of the camera, you have the flexibility to naturally angle the camera to the side or up and down using your thumb. Video files are accompanied by audio and a time and date stamp.

EXCELLENT POWER MANAGEMENT
The camera has a single tactically threaded cable inside the bag that connects to any Power Bank. For example, we offer an optional 10'000 mAh Power Bank, available from the menu above, that can be connected to the cable to provide approx. 18 hours of operational use. You may connect any Power Bank, and a larger mAh capacity would provide even longer operational use before a recharge is required. Professional users should consider carrying several Power Banks inside the Ruckcam.
CONNECTS TO ANY WIFI OR 4G LTE DONGLE
The Ruckcam's primary function is for single-operator use to manually start and stop recording via the smartphone app, however, wireless connection options can be used to allow family members or team operatives to remotely watch the camera LIVE on their smartphones from anywhere in the world. Please see the 'More Information' tab for further details.
HIDDEN SSID (WIFI MODE)
For peace of mind, the Ruckcam will not display the camera's SSID when connected to a WiFi network, thus remaining undiscoverable to third parties searching for connected WiFi devices.
iPHONE | ANDROID SMARTPHONE APP
The smartphone app can be downloaded from the Apple | Google Play Store and is the control hub for the Ruckcam's camera. The app is British developed and designed for beginners to the tech-savvy. The app allows you to view, record, take picture snapshots, enable motion-activated recording, enable video recording by sound, instantly access and playback video clips, adjust the video resolution and download and/or delete files - plus much more! The smartphone app has a functional calendar for easy navigation to all your stored video clips. Select the time and date from the calendar to locate all your archived videos and images.
PRIVACY-FOCUSED ENCRYPTION
The smartphone app has been hugely focused on privacy and puts real protection back in your hands. The smartphone camera app is fully encrypted to comply with the most stringent certification so that only YOU have access to your data. The server is hosted in the UK and encrypts secure handshakes between the camera and the smartphone app to authorise access through a series of algorithmic signatures and is loaded with security features to please the most demanding privacy-minded user.
A third party cannot access the camera even with the correct login credentials. You must grant access to the camera by sending a family member or team associate an encrypted token. You can revoke access by killing the token from your smartphone app at any time.
PRE AND POST-RECORDING FEATURE
When using motion-activated recording, the camera intelligently records events 5 seconds before motion has been detected. When you playback the recorded footage, you will see the full uncut video starting a few seconds before movement commenced ensuring no vital video evidence is missed.
TAMPERPROOF VIDEO AND PICTURE STORAGE
Fitted with 32 GB of internal storage (upgraded to 256 GB upon request), the Ruckcam Camera automatically stores recorded video | picture snapshots to its internal memory that is securely accessible only by you via the smartphone app. Tampering with the bag will automatically wipe any stored files.

WHAT IS THE RUCKCAM?
The Ruckcam is a unisex bag camera that is entirely self-contained for hands-free body-worn video recording in most indoor and outdoor environments. The camera is professionally fitted in the left-hand side strap and the bag is casually slung over your shoulder so the camera is facing outwards in front of you. The camera can then be subtly manoeuvred by your thumb to point towards the left, right, up or down direction.
HOW IS THE RUCKCAM POWERED?
The camera is connected to any Power Bank by a single tactically threaded cable inside the bag. For example, we offer an optional 10'000 mAh Power Bank, available from the menu above, that can be swiftly connected to provide approx. 18 hours of operational use.
Note: Any Power Bank can be connected to the camera. The larger the mAh capacity of the Power Bank, the longer the camera can be powered before a recharge is required. You can carry several Power Banks inside the Ruckcam if you wish.
HOW DO I SET UP THE CAMERA?
For convenience, no computer or Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is needed. You only require a modern smartphone with active internet connection (3G, 4G, 5G). The smartphone app, available to download from the Apple | Google Play Store provides you with full control of the camera, including an easy setup procedure. When you are ready to record, use the app's touchscreen controls to start and stop recording, playback recordings and download recorded footage to your smartphone's camera roll.
There is no fumbling inside the bag, you can follow your subject or casually sit at a table filming and appear very natural.
The smartphone app is fully encrypted and certified so that only YOU can access the video footage and the camera menu including setting the time and date, adjusting the video resolution, contrast, brightness, and downloading video and/or picture snapshots. More information regarding file privacy is below.
All video recordings are time and date stamped to provide an accurate timeline of events.
CAN I ALLOW A FAMILY MEMBER OR OTHER PERSON TO VIEW THE CAMERA LIVE?
Yes. Although the Ruckcam's primary function is for single user recording, you can invite a person/s to live view the camera on their smartphones from anywhere in the world. The Ruckcam is integrated with a WiFi module (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) that allows you to connect the camera to any WiFi network for example; your home | office | hotel | coffee shop etc. When the camera is connected to a WiFi network, you can then allow any person/s access to the camera who has downloaded the smartphone app and inputted the encryption token that you provide them.
For example; The subject is sitting in a coffee shop. You would sit nearby and using your smartphone connect the camera to the coffee shop's WiFi network. You then send an encrypted token to your family member or operative so they can access the camera in real-time on their smartphone from anywhere in the world.
WHAT IF THERE IS NO WIFI NETWORK?
You can create a wireless network using a MiFi Dongle (available from the menu above or a brick-and-mortar shop), or connect the camera to a smartphone or iPad's tethering hotspot. Both methods will effectively create a 4G wireless network allowing other trusted people to view the Ruckcam's camera even when you are in rural areas.
Note: Live streaming video footage over wireless 4G consumes little data; therefore, if using a MiFi Dongle we recommend inserting an EE SIM card with approx. 5 GB of data. We do not supply a 4G data SIM card.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO SEE THE SURVEILLANCE CAMERA?
No. The camera is professionally fitted with our signature invisible lens to withstand close visual examination. We have highlighted the camera with a red circle in the product images because it is difficult to see. There is no other Bag Camera of this quality calibre anywhere on the market. Every Ruckcam is meticulously hand-built and made with love.
HOW SHARP IS THE LIVE VIDEO FOOTAGE QUALITY?
The 8-megapixel camera lens produces true HD resolution with a 60 feet optical zoom to take you even closer to the action! A further 12x selectable fine-tune camera settings plus selectable camera parameters including picture, meter, exposure, white balance and image effect.
WILL THE CAMERA SEND PUSH NOTIFICATIONS TO MY SMARTPHONE WHEN MOTION IS DETECTED?
Coming soon. This feature will work when the Ruckcam's camera is connected to a WiFi network or 4G and should be enabled for example; having placed the Ruckcam on the office floor to be notified when a person enters your private room. You will receive a real-time push notification to your smartphone alerting you of movement. The camera has an intelligent 'stealth capture' feature that automatically records events 5 seconds before motion has been detected. You will view the full uncut video without missing vital seconds when you playback the recorded footage.
WHAT ABOUT VIDEO AND IMAGE FILE PRIVACY?
The camera and smartphone app have been designed from the ground upwards, focusing on the highest privacy protocols. The entire system is fully encrypted and certified so that only you can access the camera and your contents. You may allow other person/s access to the camera by sending them an encrypted token. You can kill the token at any time, thus revoking access. This procedure ensures any person/s that correctly input the login credentials will not be able to access the camera without an encrypted token provided by you.
CAN I PHYSICALLY ACCESS RECORDED VIDEO FILES?
No. Should the Ruckcam or any of our range of premier cameras be tampered with, the internal data storage (32 - 256 GB) is automatically wiped. Access to the recorded files can only be made by you via the encrypted smartphone app to playback, delete or download files to your smartphone.
CAN THE CAMERA RECORD IN THE DARK?
No. The camera is not equipped with infra-red LEDs that help provide night vision. The camera is good enough to handle low light environments, but the brighter the environment, the more precise and clear the footage will be.
WILL THE RUCKCAM EMIT SOUND OR FLASHING LED'S THAT MAY ATTRACT ATTENTION?
No. This product is professionally designed for the security-conscious and surveillance of most indoor and outdoor environments.

Note: If you choose DPD for next-day delivery, your order must be received by 10:00 am to allow time for booking a collection.
SATURDAY DELIVERY
We offer Saturday delivery by Royal Mail Special and DPD Courier, provided your order is received no later than 12 noon on Friday. If your order is received after 12:00 noon on Friday, we cannot despatch for Saturday delivery.
Your parcel will be couriered and fully trackable by UPS or FedEx for orders despatched to EU countries and other worldwide destinations. If you have a specific preference of courier please let us know before placing an order.

Your parcel is despatched with an estimated delivery time of 4-6 working days and a flat shipping fee of £39.00.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING
Your parcel is despatched with an estimated delivery time of 3-5 days and a flat shipping fee of £49.00.
Deliveries to the EU and other worldwide destinations are not guaranteed within the stated timescales. Customs and Excise in the receiving country may subject your parcel to charges outside our control.
Sometimes, the delivery destination can exceed the flat-rate shipping fee. We try to absorb additional shipping fees; however, in a minority of cases, this may not be possible due to our small margins, and we may need to touch base with you before dispatch to discuss further options.
