Product Description

Pocket Sized RF Bug Detector; With 1 MHz – 6.0 GHz Detection

A highly effective bug sweeping device to compliment your existing professional array of RF equipment, the MK6000 is a small pocket sized hand held bug detector which will effectively locate wired and wireless transmitting devices including: GSM audio, GPS tracking, UHF / VHF / FM radio signals, WiFi cameras, microwave transmitters,  plus varied hidden wide & narrow band bugs.

The MK6000 is very easy to operate without any technical knowledge and provides an excellent frequency detection range to locate privacy interrogating signals operating as low as one (1) MHz – all the way up to six (6) GHz.

The integrated multi channel LED bar-graph visually displays the transmitting signal strength of a potential bug and then omits an audio tone or vibration alert – thus indicating the closeness of any disguised or hidden transmitter.

An in-built fully rechargeable battery pack will provide up to eight (8) hours of continuous use which can then be recharged via the supplied mains charger.

This product is a very wise investment for those persons serious about invasion of their privacy for example: scanning a room or vehicle for unauthorised equipment before confidential meetings and to help protect against unlawful intervention of your personal and business equipment.

CAN THE MK6000 FIND ALL TRANSMITTING BUGS?

Yes.  It can effectively detect signals operating as low as one (1) MHz and up to six (6) GHz.  This is a good signal range to cover as generally not many bugging devices – even non-commercial professional bugs.

HOW WILL I KNOW IVE FOUND A BUGGING DEVICE?

Once the MK6000 picks up a transmitting frequency the visual LED display will move higher up the bar.  Generally, anything showing above 50% can be considered a transmission and the closer you move the bug detector towards the signal, the stronger and higher up the LED will illuminate.

SHOULD I SWITCH OFF ALL OTHER DEVICES IN THE HOUSE BEFORE DOING A SWEEP?

No.  Make an initial search with all power enabled and perform a slow search over all objects, electrical sockets and corners of the room both horizontally and vertically making a note of where the RF device locates a signal.  Next, isolate the power supply to the house and perform the same technical search once again.

IM CONCERNED BY VEHICLE IS BUGGED?

You need to isolate the vehicle from phone masts, WiFI and other people’s mobile phone signals by driving to a rural area and switching the engine OFF.  Rock the vehicle from side to side to enable any transmitters which are enabled by movement and then make a cursory sweep of the vehicle.  Make a note of where the RF device locates a signal and then make a secondary sweep adjusting the sensitivity.

THE MK6000 SIGNAL IS STRONG BUT I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING?

This could be either the bug is well hidden inside an object or due to the sensitivity of the detection range it could be picking up for example: next door neighbours WiFi signal.

IS USING THIS TYPE OF RF EQUIPMENT LEGAL TO OPERATE?

Yes.  The only thing bug detectors can do is detect transmitting frequencies which is perfectly normal.
