Stylish Writing Pen; with SD Card Audio Recording
Recently upgraded, this functional writing pen provides touch-button Continuous or Voice Activated audio recording with time and date. The Pen's natural appearance and slim design does not reveal its true identity and is ideal for capturing clear audio up to 25 feet away.
Carry the Pen in a pocket to capture verbal conversations of meetings, interviews, medical appointments or disputes, or casually leave the Premium Pen Voice Recorder on a desk to record other sensitive matters, for example; to obtain verbal/abusive behavioural events etc.
SD CARD STORAGE
Audio files are stored to a removable Micro SD card concealed within the Pen's slimline body. A 16 GB SD card is supplied, and a maximum 32 GB storage may be used - which is more than enough to hold over 20 hours of audio recordings. The SD card can be removed from the Pen, and the files played on a Windows or Mac computer.
TIME AND DATE STAMP
Each recorded audio file can be time and date stamped; however, this procedure must be done on a Windows computer using the supplied software. The time and date is synced from a computer to the Pen automatically.
ENHANCED AUDIO SOUND QUALITY
Sound quality is recorded in WAV format at 192 Kbps. The Pen's microphone can capture distances up to 25 feet.
CONTINUOUS AND VOICE ACTIVATED RECORDING
A touch button selects the recording mode.
- Continuous / Manual Recording - non-stop recording for 10 hours, and suitable for 'on-the-fly' recording from a pocket.
- Voice Activated Recording - records only when sound is triggered above a pre-set -60 Db level, and suitable for leaving the Pen in a room or vehicle environment while you are absent.
INTELLIGENT AUTO-SAVE FUNCTION
When the Pen is running down on battery juice and requires recharging, the last recording seconds are automatically saved to the SD card using intelligent data-save technology to ensure audio files are not lost.
Also, the Pen can be used as a Mass Storage Device for holding important files, pictures or documents and because its appearance is that of a smart writing pen - who would ever suspect?
This is an excellent audio recording Pen for 'on-demand' recording or casually placed on a desk, shelf, or in a pen pot to gather audio representation in your absence.

HOW DO I MAKE A RECORDING?
A subtle push-button recording mechanism can be pressed to start/stop recordings under natural movement.
DOES THE PEN SUPPORT VOICE ACTIVATION RECORDING?
Yes. The Pen supports both Continuous Recording and Voice Activated Recording. In continuous recording mode, the Pen will record for approx 10 hours, automatically splitting audio files into 1-hour lengths. For example; recording over a 10-hour period will store 10x audio files, each an hour long. There are no LED's while recording.
In voice-activated mode, the Pen will record only when sound is triggered above a pre-set -60 Db. Please note an LED will be illuminated when using voice-activated recording. The LED may be covered by black masking tape if required.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO TELL THE PEN IS A VOICE RECORDER?
No. This modern writing Pen does not display any characteristics to identify it as a recording device.
CAN I WRITE WITH THE PEN?
Yes. Put pen to paper and write away. 2x additional ink cartridges are supplied.
Note: We do not recommend the Pen is used as your 'everyday' writing pen due to the shortened ink cartridge.
ARE THERE ANY FLASHING LIGHTS OR BUZZING NOISES WHILST RECORDING?
For continuous (manual) recording there are no indicators while recording. However, in voice-activation recording the LED is visible.
HOW IS THE AUDIO STORED?
Audio files are stored in WAV format to an SD card storage. A 16 GB SD card is supplied and pre-fitted. The maximum SD card capacity is 32 GB. We offer the option to purchase an additional 16 GB or 32 GB SD card from the menu above.
CAN I PLAYBACK THE AUDIO ON A MAC COMPUTER?
Yes. The Pen is compatible with Windows and Mac computer, although the time and date can only be set using a Windows computer. The SD card can also be removed from the Pen and the contents played back on a compatible SD card media player.
DOES THE PEN HAVE A TIME AND DATE FUNCTION?
Yes. Syncing the time and date to the Pen can only be done on a Windows computer. The supplied software can be opened and the time and date will automatically sync.

We offer an expedited delivery service (Monday through Friday) by Royal Mail Tracked 24 Signature and DPD Courier at their respective shipping costs.
Note: If you choose DPD for next-day delivery, your order must be received by 10:00 am to allow time for booking a collection.
SATURDAY DELIVERY
We offer Saturday delivery by Royal Mail Special and DPD Courier, provided your order is received no later than 12 noon on Friday. If your order is received after 12:00 noon on Friday, we cannot despatch for Saturday delivery.
Your parcel will be couriered and fully trackable by UPS or FedEx for orders despatched to EU countries and other worldwide destinations. If you have a specific preference of courier please let us know before placing an order.
STANDARD SHIPPING
Your parcel is despatched with an estimated delivery time of 4-6 working days and a flat shipping fee of £39.00.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING
Your parcel is despatched with an estimated delivery time of 3-5 days and a flat shipping fee of £49.00.
Deliveries to the EU and other worldwide destinations are not guaranteed within the stated timescales. Customs and Excise in the receiving country may subject your parcel to charges outside our control.
Sometimes, the delivery destination can exceed the flat-rate shipping fee. We try to absorb additional shipping fees; however, in a minority of cases, this may not be possible due to our small margins, and we may need to touch base with you before dispatch to discuss further options.
