The device boasts an impressive built-in rechargeable battery, powering the surveillance camera for roughly three months (90-day standby time) - a remarkable duration.  It stores the recorded footage in crystal-clear 2K resolution on a removable SD card, compatible with both Windows and Mac computers.  Each video file includes audio and a crucial time and date stamp for evidential purposes.

Details

A wire-free PIR; with 2K Resolution Video and Motion Activated Recording

This PIR Sensor is designed to fit snugly in the corner of most indoor spaces, providing aerial surveillance of your premises and gathering video evidence to address your concerns.  The integrated high-resolution 2K motion-activated camera springs into action when it detects movement from below.  Being completely wireless and portable, this PIR Sensor is an ideal surveillance solution for various premises, including offices, homes, hallways, and garages.  It even serves as a handy security camera for your hotel room during your absence.

All captured footage is accompanied by audio and a time and date stamp, enhancing its evidential value.

STUNNING 2K VIDEO RESOLUTION

Straight out of the box, the PIR Sensor is ready for action.  It offers user-friendly operation, quick deployment, and excellent battery performance.  The video capture produces razor-sharp 2K footage, providing robust evidence in potentially sensitive situations.

DISCREET AND UNOBTRUSIVE

PIR Sensors are commonplace in most room environments, allowing this product to blend seamlessly with its surroundings whilst observing and recording events below without drawing attention.

EFFICIENT POWER MANAGEMENT

The PIR Sensor Recording DVR Camera has a fully rechargeable 4000 mAh battery, which keeps the motion-activated camera running for approximately three months.  That's an impressive 90-day standby time to comfortably meet the needs of most users, even those away for extended periods.

The PIR can be easily detached from its wall bracket for battery recharging via a mains power supply.  The DVR's LED indicator clearly shows the charging status.

Note: The 3-month standby time refers to the total duration the camera actively monitors for movement without being triggered to record.  In practice, if no movement occurs for 2.5 months, sufficient power remains to record events.  The overall standby time gradually decreases based on how frequently the camera is triggered to record over that period.

MOTION TRIGGERED RECORDING

By default, the PIR Sensor spy cam is primed to record when it detects motion directly beneath the camera lens.  The sensor can be rotated on its bracket for optimal viewing angles, with the pinhole camera offering a 65-degree field of view.  Each motion detection triggers a one-minute recording saved to a removable SD card.  If no further movement is detected after one minute, the camera returns to standby, ready for the next motion trigger.

This cycle continues until the SD card reaches capacity.  While designed primarily for motion detection, this camera can record continuously for three hours if uninterrupted recording is preferred.  Continuous recording is saved in three-minute file segments to a removable SD card (not included).

A 32 GB card can store approximately 176 video files, while a 128 GB SD card can accommodate around 704 video files.

REMOTE CONTROL FOB

The PIR Sensor is supplied with a small remote fob to conveniently switch ON/OFF recording.  The fob is user-friendly, with a subtle LED on the DVR to acknowledge button presses from the remote.

The package includes a pre-configured DVR (digital video recorder) and a small remote fob.  Only two buttons on the fob are used—the Power ON/OFF button and the motion-activation recording button.  The entire operation of the camera is straightforward and requires no technical expertise.

Note: To recharge the PIR sensor from mains power, a USB mains plug (not supplied) is required.  Alternatively, purchase a genuine Apple USB mains plug from the menu above.

More Information

F.A.Q's

WILL THE PIR SENSOR BLEND IN VISUALLY?

Indeed.  The PIR sensor's appearance is indistinguishable from standard models, and when affixed to the ceiling corner, it seamlessly integrates with its surroundings.

IS MOUNTING THE PIR ON A WALL STRAIGHTFORWARD?

Certainly, the package includes brackets that screw onto any flat wall surface.  The PIR then easily slots on and off these brackets as needed, making it convenient for charging and accessing files stored on the SD card.

ARE THERE ANY VISIBLE EXTERNAL SWITCHES OR WIRES?

Not at all.  The unit is entirely self-contained, with the recording mechanism professionally integrated within the PIR Sensor.  This design allows discreet deployment in most indoor settings without drawing attention from the individuals below.

DOES THE PIR SENSOR FUNCTION AS A STANDARD SENSOR?

No.  Due to the internal recording and storage mechanism, the unit serves as a non-functional PIR.

IS THE CAMERA USER-FRIENDLY?

Absolutely. The package includes a pre-configured DVR (digital video recorder) and a small remote fob.  The fob's operation requires only two buttons: the Power ON/OFF button and the motion-activation recording button.  The product is ready to use straight out of the box.  The entire camera operation is straightforward, requiring no technical expertise.

Note: Continuous recording is an added feature, albeit limited to a maximum of three hours (with video files split into 3-minute segments).

WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE RECORDED VIDEO?

The 4.0-megapixel camera lens produces crisp HD 2K video resolution at 30 FPS (frames per second).  2K offers pin-sharp clarity, surpassing 1080P resolution.  All video footage includes clear audio and a time and date stamp.

HOW IS THE PIR CAMERA POWERED?

The PIR Sensor houses an integrated 4000 mAh rechargeable battery, powering the camera for approximately three months (90 days) on standby.  Standby time refers to the total duration the camera remains powered and ready to capture motion-activated events before requiring a recharge.

In practical terms, if there's no movement for about two months, the camera will still have sufficient battery power to continue actively monitoring the area for movement.

Note: The overall standby time may gradually decrease depending on factors such as the frequency of camera triggering and indoor room temperature.  Both heat and cold can affect battery performance, and recording consumes more power than standby mode.

DOES THE PRODUCT COME WITH COMPUTER SOFTWARE?

No. The PIR Camera is designed for ease of use without computer software.  However, to view the video files, you will need a Windows or Mac computer with an SD card slot (card reader) or any other compatible SD card media player.

We recommend installing the FREE VLC Player from videolan.org, which supports all video and audio media formats.

HOW DO I RECHARGE THE BATTERY?

The PIR Sensor must be charged using mains power, using the supplied USB cable and plug.  We offer an optional genuine Apple USB mains plug from the menu above.

WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM SD CARD CAPACITY SUPPORTED?

The maximum supported size is 128 GB - sufficient storage for 704 video files, with each motion-triggered recording stored in one-minute durations.  This equates to 11 hours of motion-activated video footage.

HOW DO I SET THE TIME AND DATE?

It's remarkably easy - a 'time' file is placed in the record folder.  We provide comprehensive instructions with the product, including guidance on setting the time and date.
