Nano Digital Voice Recorder; with 30 Days Encrypted Audio Recording Time
For the professional user, the NanoSD Voice Recorder is a miniaturised digital recorder measuring only the size of a standard SIM card. Designed for extremely long term audio surveillance, the NanoSD must be hard wired into an external power source for example inside a PC. The chipset is protected in heat resistant rubberised material for a neat finish.
Preliminary designed for law enforcement with a file encryption protection system, the highly sensitive microphone enables recording clarity at 44'000 kHz - sensitive enough to clearly pick up conversations around 30 feet away from where the NanoSD is situated.
Each recorded audio file is stored in WAV format to a removable Micro SD card using 128-bit encryption to protect against unauthorised access or tampering of evidence. An SD capacity up to 32 GB is enough to hold 1000 hours of recordable audio. The SD card can be removed without power disconnection and without causing data loss. All recordings are archived in chronological order for easy navigation and play back.
WIDGET SOFTWARE
Designed for use with the Windows Operating System, this custom and precise Widget / RC Manager software allows you to pre configure the NanoSD Voice Recorder to your preferred settings, which is then saved to the devices SD card memory. Choose from a variety of user settings to maximise the recording time, audio quality, pre scheduled time and date and much more.
Due to the absence of moving parts, the NanoSD Recorder is silent in operation and robust enough to function in a wide temperature range. A single switch controls the ON / OFF recording mechanism - in fact, its hard to belive such a tiny recorder measuring just 25 x 17 x 3 mm is the pinnacle of professional digital spy voice recorders.

How small is the recorder?
Approx the size of a standard SIM card measuring just 25 x 17 x 3 mm and weighing four (4) grams.
Although advertised for law enforcement use, can it be used commercially?
Yes. There are no restrictions to providing this equipment commercially, and therefore, ideal for external hard wired applications.
Is it easy to use?
Yes. Although you must be able to hard wire to a 2.8 - 6.0 external power source.
How do I make a recording?
Once powered and an SD card inserted, the voice recorder has only one (1) switch to start / stop recording.
Do I have to install any software to my PC?
You are supplied with a Widget Tool / RC Manager software which does not require installation. The software allows you to make pre selectable changes and play back any recorded audio files, and download audio files from the recorders SD card to your computer.
How many hours will it record for?
The highest audio setting (44'000 kHz) will provide 30 hours of recording (continuous / voice activated / scheduled) however, lowering the recording quality will increase the recording time up to 1000 hours.
Is it voice activated?
Yes. The supplied software allows you to change settings between different recordable modes including continuous / voice activated / scheduled recording.
Can the nanoSD be scheduled to record during specified hours?
Yes. This can be preset through the software. You can also set the device to record upon voice activation between specified hours too!
How far away can the microphone pick up audio?
The microphone is very sensitive and the audio is extremely clear - approx 35 feet.
Are there any flashing lights or buzzing noises when recording?
No. The NanoSD is digital with no moving parts. The LED indicator can be switched ON / OFF through the software.
Are the recorded files easy to access?
All recorded audio file/s are stored in WAV format in an strong 128-bit encryption, therefore, without the appropriate password it is impossible to decipher the algorithm to gain access.
Can I play back the audio recordings on my Mac?
No. The Widget Tool / RC Manager software is compatible with Windows operating systems only.
