Mini Black Box Camera; with Adjustable Wide Angle HD Camera Lens
This small, self-contained surveillance camera is the sister product to the Micro HD Black Box Recorder. It supports a much wider 160-degree angle with a physically moveable camera head (up | down) to get a better viewing position. This compact Mini DVR Tilt Camera Box is the ideal portable camera for most indoor and possibly outdoor environments.
Place the Mini Camera Box amongst everyday objects, or even inside a tissue box (with a small cut out hole) or other inconspicuous items. The possibilities to gather video footage accompanied with clear audio and a time and date stamp with this little recording marvel are endless.
Video footage is captured in high definition 1280 x 720 resolution. An intelligent Auto Switching Mode that actively monitors the lighting conditions can be switched ON / OFF to enhance overall picture quality.
The Mini DVR Tilt Camera is supplied with an easy-to-use software (Windows and Mac compatible) to change the menu settings of the device, including various recording modes.
MOTION RECORDING
Any movement within range of the Mini Tilt Camera will trigger recording to begin. The recording will continue for a minimum of 10 minutes once triggered. If no further movement is detected after 10 minutes, the video file is saved to a removable Micro SD card (not supplied), and the device resumes active movement monitoring once again.
Please note you will need to use your own SD card or purchase a 16 GB or 32 GB card from the menu above.
CONTINUOUS, SCHEDULED, VIBRATION AND AUDIO RECORDING
- Recording can be activated to record until physically stopped
- You can preset a time and date in which the Mini Tilt Camera actively monitors the environment between those specified hours
- Should the Mini Tilt Camera receive a slight knock or physical movement, recording will commence
- The internal microphone of the Mini Camera can actively monitor room environments for sounds - and record video footage when audio is triggered above a preset threshold
A fully charged battery will provide approx 10 hours of operational use, which is ample time for many people to capture video evidence within a certain time frame; however, the optional Power Bank available from the menu above connects directly into the Tilt Camera and boosts the battery performance by 3 times to well over 24 hours operational use.
Should you require even longer operational time, the Tilt Camera can also operate when connected to a mains power, thus producing unlimited standby.
Note: If powering the Tilt Camera from a mains power, audio quality may slightly depreciate.
160-DEGREE WIDE-ANGLED CAMERA LENS
The Mini Tilt Camera is equipped with a 'fish eye' camera lens for a better-rounded vision ensuring a wider scope of a room is captured.
TILTABLE CAMERA HEAD
For situations when you need that little extra leverage to aim the camera for a better recording position. For example, you can place the Mini Tilt Box high on a shelf and rotate the camera head downwards to capture everything below - and vice versa.
WINDOWS | MAC SOFTWARE
The Mini DVR Tilt Camera is supplied with the software, compatible with Windows and Mac computers. By connecting the camera to your computer, the software can be opened to select any number of different recordable options to suit your requirements.
OPTIONAL 10'0000 MAH POWER BANK
Wrapped inside a scratch-resistant shell, this external power bank measures just 105 x 50 x 25 mm and provides a huge 10'000 mAh of battery juice. Any electrical device can be connected, including iPhone, Android and tablet devices. Connect the Power Bank to the Tilt Camera to maintain power 5x longer than its own internal battery.
Recordings are stored on a removable SD card which can be played on any Windows and Mac computer.
The Mini Tilt Box can be used as a wireless and portable surveillance video recorder placed within | or amongst other items to capture high-quality footage for evidential purposes.

HOW CAN THE CAMERA'S INTERNAL 1'200 MAH BATTERY PERFORMANCE BE FURTHER MAXIMISED?
The menu can be accessed, which adjusts the camera's settings depending on your preferences. As a general rule of thumb, a higher quality setting will reduce the overall battery performance.
For example:
- Increasing the recording split time from its minimum of 10 minutes to 15 | 20 minutes
- Enabling the audio microphone
- Using more than 1 recording mode at a time
- Using the maximum HD video resolution as opposed to standard 640 x 480 resolution
- Enabling the auto-switching function to adjust lighting conditions (day to night vision) automatically
Generally, the higher recording quality and multiple features enabled together will reduce the overall battery performance.
CAN I CONNECT AN EXTERNAL POWER BANK OR PLUG THE CAMERA INTO A WALL SOCKET FOR LONGER PERFORMANCE?
Yes. If the Tilt Camera is connected to a mains socket, constant power is always applied, and the battery drain is not affected. Please note that audio quality can suffer due to the camera receiving mains feedback. Another option is to purchase the external 10'000 mAh Power Bank, which plugs into the Tilt Camera to increase the battery performance 3x times longer.
The Power Bank is available from the menu above and is a superb investment. Always a good accessory to keep handy.
CAN I PLACE THE TILT CAMERA INSIDE OTHER ITEMS?
The device is small enough to remain in plain sight amongst everyday objects, or customise a hideout inside a tissue box or hollow out a book! The possibilities are endless.
ARE THERE ANY BEEPS OR SOUNDS THE TILT CAMERA PRODUCES?
No. Due to the absence of moving parts, there are no obvious indicators that would draw attention.
DOES THE DEVICE HAVE A SWIVEL CAMERA HEAD?
Yes. A great function of this little device allows you to manually rotate the camera lens up or down to get a better viewing | recording position for example: place the device high up and adjust the camera lens to point downwards overlooking the area, or perhaps place the device low to the floor and adjust the camera lens upwards.
WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE RECORDING LIKE?
Excellent! You can select between the highest 1280 x 720 HD resolution or a lower 640 x 320 standard resolution. When in HD recording, the footage is pin-sharp and smooth with fantastic vivid colours.
DOES THE TILT CAMERA RECORD AUDIO?
Yes.
WILL THE CAMERA CAPTURE A GOOD VIEW OF MY ROOM?
Yes. The device is equipped with a wide scope 160-degree field-of-view camera lens; therefore, capturing a full view of a room or area is possible.
CAN THE TILT CAMERA RECORD IN THE DARK?
No. Although there is a customisable setting to activate low light recording, this should not be confused with complete darkness recording.
WILL THE TILT CAMERA RECORD WHEN MOTION IS DETECTED?
Yes. The device has several recording modes, including continuous recording, motion movement recording, scheduled recording, vibration recording and sound-activated recording.
APPROXIMATELY, WHAT IS THE OVERALL RECORDING TIMES?
On a full charge, the camera has around 10 hours of recording time which is enough time for many people to capture a window of opportunity. If you require longer, please consider the Power Bank, which provides an additional 10'000 mAh battery performance and boosts the operational time over 24 hours.
WHERE ARE THE VIDEO FILES STORED?
The camera has a slot to accommodate a removable Micro SD card (not supplied) where all the video footage is stored. The SD card can be removed from the device and played on any Windows or Mac computer.

Yes. You are supplied with both Windows and Mac software. Connect the mini tilt camera to your computer, then open the software to display the settings menu. From here, you can select different options to configure the device exactly how you want it to work for you.
