WIFI TECHNOLOGY FOR REMOTE VIEWING ON A MOBILE PHONE
The Jungle Camera must be connected to a WiFi network for example: home, workplace, hotel, coffee shop etc and through the FREE software app available from the Google Play / Apple Store is very easy to setup and begin remotely monitoring activity on your mobile phone or tablet. The software app allows you to change settings, receive push notifications when movement is detected, and capture images without even touching the device. In addition, if you insert an SD card (not supplied), the Jungle Camera will record LIVE video footage for later viewing on a Windows / Mac computer + remotely transfer the footage directly to your smartphone.

The FREE app available from the Google Play / Apple Store makes the setup process incredibly simple. No technical skill, no computer, no ethernet cable and no special software required. Connect the camera to any WiFi network through the app - it's that easy.
REALISTICALLY, HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST?
The Jungle Camera has a very long battery performance up to 90 days. If being triggered 10 times every day will still achieve up to 75 days operation time.
HOW CAN SUCH A SMALL CAMERA SQUEEZE THREE MONTHS ON A SINGLE CHARGE?
The camera uses a combination of low power consumption and deep sleep mode. So, whilst the PIR sensor will always actively monitor for motion, it does this even in a deep sleep, thus conserving battery. Besides, the WiFi connection is only activated when you wish to view the camera and not running in the background all of the time. By working in this manner, the camera fully maximises the battery performance - its clever technology which outperforms almost all other similar WiFi cameras of this pedigree.
WHERE CAN I REMOTELY VIEW THE CAMERA FROM?
Anywhere in the world, providing your smartphone has an active data connection. For example: set up the device in a hotel room and keep an eagle eye whilst you are out. Knowing you will receive instant push notifications (day or night) in the event of unauthorised entry.
HOW FAR AWAY OUTSIDE MY HOUSE WILL THE JUNGLE CAMERA WORK?
This really depends on how strong the WiFi signal is. The best way to check is to connect your mobile phone to the associated network you will be using and see how far you can go before losing signal. It's possible to purchase a 'WiFi Booster' which will increase the distance of your existing WiFi if it's not suitably within range.
WILL THE SPY CAMERA WORK IF I DONT USE WIFI?
No. This Jungle Camera must be connected to a WiFi network.
WHATS THE VIDEO FOOTAGE LIKE?
Whether you are LIVE viewing or playing back a recording, it looks terrific on a smartphone or tablet.
Please Note: The Jungle Camera will emit an infra-red LED in darkness when you are remotely viewing. At all other times the infra-red LED remains unseen. For example: If somebody enters your room at night, the infra-red LED will not be illuminated but will alert you of movement. If you decide at that point to remotely view the room, the infra-red will then illuminate. If you decide not to view remotely, then the infra-red LED will not illuminate but will still capture events to a Micro SD card which you can review later - or download the footage to your mobile / tablet device.
WHAT IF 90 DAYS ISNT LONG ENOUGH?
Connect it to a mains power for unlimited standby and operation time.
WHERE IS THE FOOTAGE STORED?
If you insert a Micro SD card (not supplied), then all motion-activated video footage is saved to the card which can be removed, and the video files played on any Windows or Mac computer without the need of special software. In addition, the recorded footage can be stored to your mobile phone.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN THE BATTERY IS GETTING LOW?
The Jungle Camera will send you a push notification to your mobile phone when the battery level drops to 20%. This gives you ample time to recover and recharge the camera.
