When using the Ghost Camera, the app authenticates through an encrypted UK-based server, guaranteeing a significantly higher level of privacy.
COMPATIBLE WITH IPHONE AND ANDROID DEVICES
Our WiFi cameras are incredibly user-friendly and require minimal technical expertise. You'll receive easy, step-by-step instructions and access to our excellent customer support. There's no fuss with wires or IP configuration; you only need a modern smartphone with internet access.
The smartphone app, available from the Apple or Google Play Store, serves as the control hub for the Ghost Camera. It's intuitive and perfect for beginners to the tech-savvy.
POWER BANK OR MAINS POWERED
The Ghost Camera is designed without an internal power source. We've made this choice to prevent issues stemming from internal battery degradation. Connecting the Ghost unit to mains power allows for unlimited operation. Alternatively, connecting to a 10,000 mAh Power Bank provides 18 hours of use. You can opt for a higher capacity Power Bank for extended battery life, provided the output doesn't exceed 5V | 2A.
SD CARD BACKUP PLUS SECURE CLOUD STORAGE
The Ghost unit intentionally lacks internal memory. This means if you only wish to view footage remotely, no internal storage is necessary. The unit accepts SD cards up to 32 GB (not included). Optionally, you can set up an encrypted Cloud storage account within the smartphone app to store all your crucial video files. This ensures that even if your camera is stolen or damaged, you can still access all your stored video files from the cloud—anytime—anywhere.
NO WIFI? NO WORRIES
If the Ghost Camera loses its WiFi connection, you'll receive a 'camera offline' push notification after 30 minutes. The camera will continue monitoring the environment and storing video files per your record settings. While you can't view the camera live during a WiFi disconnection, it will continue capturing recorded files while offline. These files will automatically appear in the smartphone app once the WiFi connection is restored.
If WiFi isn't available at the premises, consider purchasing a portable MiFi Dongle to provide a wireless 4G | 5G network for the camera. The camera can connect to a smartphone's Personal Hotspot (tethering). Read the 'More Information' tab for further details.
INVISIBLE SSID CAMERA
For added security, the camera's SSID won't display when connected to a WiFi network, keeping it hidden from third parties searching for connected WiFi devices on the network.
OPTIONAL 16-FOOT POWER CABLE
The Ghost unit comes with a one-metre power cable. We also offer a 16-foot power cable, which can be ordered from the menu above.

HOW IS THE GHOST CAMERA POWERED?
The Ghost Camera operates without an internal battery or ON/OFF switch. It requires an external power source, such as a power bank or mains power, to be connected via the provided USB cable. For example, connecting the Ghost Camera to a 10'000 mAh Power Bank will typically function for about 18 hours. If connected to mains power, it can operate indefinitely.
We offer an optional longer USB power cable, up to 16 feet in length, available from the menu above.
WHAT ARE THE OVERALL DIMENSIONS OF THE GHOST CAMERA?
Its main body measures 75 mm in length, 35 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth. The attached ribbon, approximately 165 mm long, enables the camera to 'peek' above or through objects. The camera head itself is remarkably compact, measuring just 0.7 mm in length and width, and 0.5 mm in depth, whilst still delivering high-definition imagery.
WHY IS NO INTERNAL BATTERY FITTED?
We deliberately designed the Ghost unit with a small footprint. Considering the natural degradation of batteries over time, we opted to allow customers to choose their preferred power source.
CAN THE GHOST BODY BE ATTACHED TO A SURFACE?
Yes. The Ghost body is exceptionally lightweight, and a small piece of double-sided 3M tape suffices to mount it on flat wooden or plastic surfaces. We also provide three different lens caps to secure the camera head.
IS THE CAMERA EASY TO SET UP?
Absolutely. The setup process is straightforward, and we provide clear, step-by-step instructions. Should you require assistance, our top-notch customer support team is readily available.
MUST I CONNECT THE CAMERA TO A WIFI NETWORK?
Yes, a WiFi connection is necessary. Once connected, your smartphone becomes the remote control hub for the camera. From anywhere in the world, you can view and record live streams or take snapshots. You can adjust recording modes (motion, continuous, or scheduled), enable push notifications, playback recorded videos, delete files, and download videos to your smartphone's camera roll. You can also grant access to family members via a secure URL, which you can revoke at any time.
IS THE SMARTPHONE APP EASY TO USE?
Certainly. The app, available for download from the Apple and Google Play Stores, offers functionality to satisfy even the most tech-savvy enthusiasts.
I HAVE NO WIFI ON THE PREMISES
The Ghost Camera can link to any device generating a WiFi network, including 4G | 5G MiFi dongles or tethering hotspots. A MiFi dongle, a compact portable device with an active data SIM card (available from numerous retailers), creates an instant wireless WiFi network. Similarly, a tethering hotspot from a secondary smartphone or tablet with a data SIM card is equally effective.

The camera offers four distinct recording modes:
- Manual—Whilst live viewing, you can tap 'Record' or 'Screenshot' to save images and video clips for immediate playback and download.
- Motion—Set the camera to record when it detects movement (within a 50-foot range).
- Continuous—Set the camera to record non-stop until the SD card reaches capacity.
- Scheduled—Set the camera to record at specific times and dates or multiple instances.
Recorded videos are neatly organised within the app's calendar for easy navigation. Recordings are displayed on an accurate timeline of captured events.
DOES THE CAMERA SEND PUSH NOTIFICATIONS WHEN MOTION IS DETECTED?
Yes. This feature can be activated via the smartphone app. Once enabled, your smartphone will receive a push notification whenever the camera detects movement.
DOES THE CAMERA OFFER HIGH-QUALITY RESOLUTION?
Certainly. Real-time viewing and downloaded video files boast crystal-clear 1080P HD resolution.
CAN THE CAMERA FUNCTION IN DARK CONDITIONS?
The camera provides excellent viewing clarity in low-light room conditions but lacks infra-red illumination for complete darkness. However, it can utilise minimal light sources, even from a computer screen, to produce an excellent picture.
IS THE SMARTPHONE APP SECURE?
Absolutely. Although we didn't develop the app, our workshop has the licence to connect our cameras to a UK server. This method ensures your camera doesn't process through unknown overseas servers, providing peace of mind.
HOW MANY WIFI CAMERAS CAN BE ADDED TO A SINGLE APP?
You can add multiple cameras to the same app, allowing you to monitor various areas of the premises simultaneously.
CAN THE GHOST CAMERA WORK IF DISCONNECTED FROM POWER?
No. If the Ghost Camera is disconnected from its power source, the WiFi camera will lose power. The camera will automatically reconnect to the associated WiFi network when power is restored.
HOW CAN I REVIEW RECORDED FOOTAGE?
Motion, continuous, and scheduled recordings remain encrypted and stored within the app for playback. These recordings can not be directly downloaded to your camera roll; however, the app has implemented an easy way to make a copy to download to your camera roll.
Manual recordings (video or snapshot) taken during live viewing are instantly available for playback and can be directly downloaded to your camera roll.
Optionally, you can open an encrypted Cloud account where all files are stored and can be accessed remotely. If your camera is stolen or damaged, you can access your secure cloud files anytime, anywhere.
CAN I USE THE GHOST CAMERA ABROAD?
Certainly. The camera can connect to any WiFi network globally. However, you must first remove the encryption from the current network and then configure it for the new one. Comprehensive instructions are provided with the device.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING
Your parcel is despatched with an estimated delivery time of 3-5 days and a flat shipping fee of £49.00.
Deliveries to the EU and other worldwide destinations are not guaranteed within the stated timescales. Customs and Excise in the receiving country may subject your parcel to charges outside our control.
Sometimes, the delivery destination can exceed the flat-rate shipping fee. We try to absorb additional shipping fees; however, in a minority of cases, this may not be possible due to our small margins, and we may need to touch base with you before dispatch to discuss further options.
