SUPER VOICE ACTIVATION
Activate the 'SVOS' function to extend the standby time to an incredible 20 days! Standby time refers to how long the device can remain powered ON whilst monitoring for sound. Even on day 19, the USB stick maintains sufficient power to initiate recording when sound is detected.
Note: The standby time gradually reduces with each recording start/stop cycle.
MICROPHONE AND AUDIO LEVEL SETTINGS
The Windows-compatible software provides three audio quality options:
- HQ (high quality)—Excellent recording quality with minimal battery consumption, ideal for close-range conversations or in-vehicle recording.
- XHQ (extra high quality)—Enhanced sound quality for superior results.
- PCM (pulse-code modulation)—Delivers broadcast sound @ 705 KBPS/44.1 kHz, perfect for larger spaces or the highest audio sound quality.
You can fine-tune the microphone sensitivity to minimise the detection of sounds like a cough, passing traffic, or creaking doors. Conversely, increasing the microphone sensitivity heightens the device's ability to detect quieter sounds.
TIME AND DATE STAMP
Windows users have the added advantage of adding time and date stamps to each audio file via the included software—an invaluable feature for maintaining evidence integrity or recalling specific moments accurately.
WINDOWS AND MAC COMPATIBLE

Yes. The USB Flash Drive serves as a standard mass storage device for your documents. You can handle it freely without any indication of its voice recording capabilities and thanks to its design without moving parts, the USB device operates silently, with no LEDs, sounds, or vibrations during recording sessions.
HOW DO I START AND STOP RECORDING?
The device features a rotatable ON/OFF recording switch. Rotate the switch either left or right to activate your preferred recording mode between voice-activated or continuous recording.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VOICE ACTIVATION AND CONTINUOUS RECORDING?
With continuous recording, you maintain control over the recording duration. It's particularly useful when you need to capture audio spontaneously, such as during meetings with uncertain durations or during face-to-face conversations and group discussions.
Voice-activated recording intelligently initiates recording upon detecting sound and pauses when silence occurs. This mode of recording proves invaluable when you'll be away from a room (or vehicle) for a while. It efficiently preserves both battery life and storage space by recording only when audio is detected.
WHAT IS THE 'SVOS' FEATURE?
The 'Super Voice Activation' function is exclusively available on the Type-C model. Whilst voice activation is already a brilliant recording mode, super voice activation extends the standby time duration to 20 days! Standby time refers to the duration the device remains ON whilst monitoring for sound. Note that the duration of standby time decreases with recording activities.
DOES THE DEVICE STAMP RECORDINGS WITH A TIME AND DATE?
The accompanying Windows software allows you to easily synchronise the time and date from your computer to the device. Windows users can also adjust microphone sensitivity and recording quality and establish scheduled recording times. Whilst Mac users can recharge the USB Flash Drive and play recorded audio files, they cannot access the software features.

The device offers 26 hours of recording in high-quality mode (HQ) and 22 hours in PCM and XHQ modes.
