DiskAshur Portable Solid State Drive with Military Grade XTS AES 256-Bit Encryption
The diskAshur M² is the smallest, lightest, fastest and most rugged FIPS compliant encrypted portable SSD to date. Boasting a huge 120 GB capacity for storing important company blueprints, spreadsheets or personal images, videos, audio and documents using a 7-15 PIN authentication process which is FIPS PUB 197 validated and AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encrypted. A Common Criteria EAL 5+ (Hardware Certified) secure microprocessor is integrated, which employs built-in physical protection mechanisms designed to defend against external tamper, bypass physical attacks and more.
FIPS 140-3 LEVEL 3 COMPLIANT
All data stored on the diskAshur M² is encrypted using FIPS PUB 197 validated, AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption. All components incorporated within the diskAshur M² are completely covered by a layer of super tough epoxy resin, which is virtually impossible to remove without causing permanent damage to the components. The drive is also designed to be tamper-evident making it obvious to the User if it has been pried open and tampered with.
COMMON CRITERIA EAL5+ CERTIFIED
A secure microprocessor offers ultimate security against hackers, detecting and responding to tampering with features such as:
- Dedicated hardware for protection against SPA / DPA / SEMA, DEMA attacks
- Advanced protection against physical attacks, including Active Shield, Enhance Protection Object, CStack checker, Slope Detector and Parity Errors
- Environmental Protection Systems protecting against voltage monitor, frequency monitor, temperature monitor and light protection
- Secure Memory Management / Access Protection
All critical components are covered by a super tough epoxy resin layer, which is virtually impossible to remove without causing permanent damage to the electronics, preventing a potential attack from accessing the encryption circuitry.
READ ONLY (WRITE PROTECT) - DUAL MODE
Both Admin and User can configure the diskAshur M² as a read-only (write protect) device. If configured by the Admin, the device cannot be modified or disabled by the User allowing the Admin to pre-provision a device with pre-loaded content as read-only for the User.
INCREDIBLE READ AND WRITE SPEEDS
The diskAshur M² SSD drive features lightning-fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer speeds up to 370 MB/s and is backwards-compatible with older USB interfaces that use USB 3.0, 2.0 and 1.1.
EASY TO USE
Simply enter a 7-15 digit PIN to authenticate and use as a normal portable SSD. When the drive is disconnected, all data is encrypted using AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption (no software required).
WATERPROOF, SHOCKPROOF AND CRUSHPROOF
The diskAshur M² is lightweight, dust and waterproof (IP68 certified), shockproof (survives a drop of 4 meters on to a concrete surface) and crushproof (withstands the weight of a 2.7-ton vehicle), making it extremely rugged and ultra-portable.
WEAR RESISTANT KEYPAD
The onboard keypad is covered with a layer of polymer coating that protects the keys and hides key usage to avoid tipping off a potential hacker to commonly used keys.
SELF DESTRUCT PIN
You can pre-program the diskAshur M² with a self-destruct PIN; once entered, the encryption key and all PINs are deleted, and all data is rendered as lost forever. Additionally, you can reset the SSD. Once performed, the encryption key and all PINs are wiped and renders all data lost forever. The device can then be redeployed, which randomly generates a new encryption key, a process that can be repeated as many times as required.
AUTO-LOCK
Automatically locks when unplugged from the host computer or when power to the USB port is turned off. It can also be set to automatically lock after a predetermined amount of time.
IMMUNE TO BAD USB
Both the USB Crypto chip and Secure Microprocessor incorporate digitally-signed flash lock mechanisms making the diskAshur M² immune to Bad USB.
OS/HOST DEPENDANT
The diskAshur M² works across any host and embedded systems. No software required; the drive will work on any device with a USB port. Compatible with: MS Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, Chrome, Thin Clients, Zero Clients, Embedded Systems, Citrix and VMware.

IF MY DISKASHUR HARD DRIVE FALLS IN THE WRONG HANDS, WHAT HAPPENS?
No physical brute force or electronic hacking can access the drive. The SSD drive provides military-grade full-disk AES 256-bit encryption with FIPS 140-2 level 3 certification to separate the wheat from the chaff. The only way to access the SSD drive is with the correct 7-15 digit PIN authentication. An attempt to tamper with the device deploys a unique defence mechanism to ensure the encrypted key is wiped along with all the stored data. Furthermore, you can set a pre-defined numeric code to force the self-destruct of the SSD drive. The password, data and encryption key are wiped, and the USB reset to factory settings.

The SSD drive has a huge 120 GB storage capacity that is more than ample for most users and really convenient when moving data while travelling or as a backup home and office drive. The SSD drive has high-speed 3.2 read and write data transfer speeds up to 370MB/s.

The SSD drive is portable, compact and weighs 86 grams, yet is completely robust to be dirt and dustproof, IP68 waterproof to withstand being submerged under 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes, shockproof to withstand drops up to 4 meters onto concrete surfaces and crushproof to withstand the weight of a 2.7-ton truck! For purchases to EU and other worldwide destinations, we use couriers by DPD, UPS, TNT and FedEx which are fully trackable.
A flat rate standard shipping fee of £40.00 applies for delivery between 6-7 business days depending on the destination, and £45.00 for expediated delivery between 4-5 business days depending on the destination.
Deliveries to EU and other worldwide destinations are not guaranteed by the timescales stated above, and will depend on factors that are outside our control. Parcels sent to EU and other worldwide countries may require a Customs Declaration attached to the outside of the parcel.
