SD CARD STORAGE
A genuine 16 GB SD card is supplied so you can be up and running immediately. To access recorded video files, remove the SD card concealed inside the Coffee Cup lid and playback on any Windows or Mac computer. There is no special software or technical skill required whatsoever. If you need more video storage capacity, we offer a 32 GB SD card from the menu above.
160 MINUTES OF RECORDING TIME
The Coffee Cup lid is powered by a fully rechargeable in-built polymer battery that provides 160 minutes of HD footage. You can manually start/stop recording or record continuously for the full 160-minute duration - more than ample time to gather undercover evidence.
SECURE SMARTPHONE APP
The hidden camera settings can be accessed by downloading the secure app from the Apple | Google Play Store. The app syncs the camera directly with your smartphone so that you can set the time and date, change the recording mode, change video resolution and view the camera to get the best viewing angle. The app is straightforward and eliminates the cumbersome procedure of connecting the coffee lid to a computer to set it up.
OPTIONAL POWER BANK
This external Power Bank can be optionally purchased from the menu above, packing 10'000 mAh juice performance in a footprint that measures just 92 (L) x 60 (W) x 22 (H) mm. WHERE IS THE CAMERA FITTED?
The camera is cleverly concealed within a purpose-built and authentic-looking coffee cup lid. The lid can be placed on any standard 90 mm coffee cup from any high street brand.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO KNOW THE COFFEE CUP LID HAS ANYTHING UNUSUAL ABOUT IT?
No. The design of the coffee lid looks entirely normal and can be visually examined but not physically handled.
CAN COFFEE BE POURED IN THE CUP?
The cup can be filled with liquid; however, it cannot be filled with hot liquid because the heat will rise and affect the camera system.
HOW IS THE CAMERA POWERED?
A fully rechargeable polymer battery is integrated inside the removable lid and powers the camera for approx. 160 minutes of continuous HD recording time.
WHERE ARE THE VIDEO RECORDINGS STORED?
All recordings are stored on a removable Micro SD card within the coffee lid. A 16 GB SD card is supplied, and a maximum of 32 GB is supported should you wish to store more recordings.
WILL THE CAMERA RECORD MOTION DETECTION?
No. The camera is designed for manual start/stop recording when the touch button is pressed. This makes the product ideal for walk-around recording, or the cup can be casually placed on a desk, table, shelf, etc, in most room environments to record continuously while you are absent.
WILL THE CAMERA COVER A GOOD FIELD OF VIEW?
The camera lens has a 66-degree field of view. This is a good viewing angle, especially when the camera is pointed towards the area of concern.
DO AUDIO AND A TIME AND DATE ACCOMPANY VIDEO RECORDINGS?
Yes. This is a law enforcement-grade surveillance product with clear audio. Each video file is stamped by a time and date for evidential purposes.
WHY DOES THE COFFEE CUP LID HAVE BUILT-IN WIFI?
This allows the Coffee Cup lid to pair with your smartphone over direct WiFi (between the camera and the smartphone only) so that you can see the camera live and adjust the Coffee Cup to get the best viewing angle. Using the app, you can fine-tune adjustments to the camera, set the time and date, change the video resolution, take picture snapshots, start/stop recording and playback and download video files to your smartphone for safekeeping.
The smartphone app gives direct access to the camera and settings without the cumbersome process of connecting to a computer.
WHAT IS THE OPTIONAL POWER BANK?
We optionally offer a small external Power Bank that will fully charge the Coffee Cup lid to full battery power and is a great travel accessory to keep in your car or carry in a pocket. You may not have access to mains power to recharge the Coffee Cup lid, especially when travelling; therefore, a Power Bank will ensure you don't get caught short of battery juice for your surveillance kit. It is also an excellent accessory for recharging smartphones and other electrical devices.
