NO RECHARGING OR BATTERIES
The Bluetooth Speaker is designed to run on mains power to function indefinitely as a combined entertainment system and hidden camera; therefore, no recharging or batteries are required.
INTEGRATED BACKUP BATTERY
The Bluetooth Speaker incorporates a backup battery for eventualities when the unit is briefly disconnected from the mains power. The camera will continue to operate on its backup battery for approximately 150 minutes. When power to the Bluetooth Speaker is restored, the backup battery self-charges to full capacity. 150 minutes (over two hours) is sufficient to capture evidence and is suitable for deployment as a standalone camera where mains power is unavailable.

Unlike some IP cameras, there are no messy wires or fiddling with network settings. The smartphone app (available from Google Play or the Apple Store) assists with setting up and controlling the camera from your smartphone or tablet. We also provide clear step-by-step instructions to help you get started in minutes.
NO WIFI? NO WORRIES
The Bluetooth Speaker will operate straight out of the box as a self-recording motion-detection camera - without a WiFi network connection. When movement is detected, recording will begin, automatically storing video files on an SD card inside the Bluetooth Speaker. No special software is needed to play back the recorded footage. A Windows or Mac computer (or other SD card media player) will suffice. A time and date stamp and clear audio accompany recorded video files.

CAN I PLAY MUSIC THROUGH THE BLUETOOTH SPEAKER?
Indeed. The Bluetooth Speaker functions like a standard Bluetooth device and lends authenticity by playing your favourite tunes, making it a delightful addition to your room's ambience.
IS THE SPY CAMERA NOTICEABLE?
The camera is cleverly integrated into the device's speaker to withstand casual visual inspection. The SD card slot and recording mechanism are located behind a removable panel. However, it's best not to allow physical tampering of the unit.
CAN THE CAMERA RECORD FOOTAGE WITHOUT CONNECTING TO A WIFI NETWORK?
Yes. The Bluetooth Speaker does not require connecting to a WiFi network to capture video evidence and can operate as a standalone motion-activated camera. The smartphone app can be launched to adjust the camera settings, including positioning the camera's viewing angle and setting the recording mode (motion or continuous).
HOW DO I USE THE SMARTPHONE APP?
The smartphone app for Android and iOS devices offers more comprehensive functionality, especially when the camera is connected to a WiFi network. Available for download from the Apple | Google Play Store, the app allows you to access camera settings to update the time and date, change recording mode, hide the SSID (preventing others from seeing the camera on a WiFi network), view footage LIVE, receive push notifications (when movement is detected) and download stored video files to your smartphone's camera roll.
IS AUDIO SUPPORTED?
Yes, indeed. Audio is supported whether you're watching live footage or playing back recorded video recordings. You can disable audio in the app settings if desired.
IS THE FILM FOOTAGE OF GOOD QUALITY?
Absolutely. Film footage can be viewed and recorded in splendid 1080P HD resolution. Moreover, the camera features an automatic infra-red function to support viewing and recording of room environments with limited natural lighting.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BLUETOOTH SPEAKER IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE MAIN POWER?
A backup battery integrated into the Bluetooth Speaker will take over, providing approximately 150 minutes of continued operation time. This is ample time to obtain video evidence when the device is disconnected from mains power. When the Bluetooth Speaker is connected back to a power supply, you'll have camera control, and the backup battery will recharge to total capacity in 180 minutes.
HOW CAN I ENSURE I'VE GOT THE BEST CAMERA VIEW?
The camera is fitted within the Speaker's grille facia and boasts a generous 78-degree field-of-view. Aiming the camera towards your desired monitoring area is straightforward and requires minimal practice.
HOW DO I ACCESS STORED VIDEO FILES?
Recorded files are stored on a removable Micro SD card inside the Bluetooth Speaker. When your smartphone is connected to the same WiFi network as the camera, all recordings stored on the SD card will automatically (and magically) appear in the app for easy playback. Video files that you wish to keep can be downloaded from the app to your smartphone's camera roll for safekeeping. Alternatively, you can remove the SD card from the Speaker to view and manually delete files as required.
The maximum SD card capacity compatible with this product is 32 GB, which can store approximately 16 hours of footage. Using a higher-capacity SD card will store more recorded files.

WILL THE CAMERA RECORD AT NIGHT?
While the camera cannot see in complete darkness, it does feature an embedded IR sensor that activates automatically when room lighting conditions alter, allowing viewing and recording in dimly lit rooms. Artificial bulb lighting or natural light through a window will produce the best image results.
