A CUT ABOVE THE MUSTARD
There are very few Voice-Activated Air Freshener Recorders on the market made of this calibre. Its casual appearance and lightweight design will not arouse suspicion, yet its performance is a cut above the mustard. The Air Freshener can be deployed in most indoor room environments, for example, to keep an eye on your children or an elderly relative for their wellbeing and safety. The product is also for self-personal protection and for gathering evidence of abuse etc. Employers may need to monitor employees suspected of illegal activity while working for the company.
In the unlikely event, the Air Freshener is moved around the room; this will hardly impact the recording sound quality due to the integrated microphone being sensitive enough to pick up audio even if carried out of sight.
CLEAR AUDIO RECORDING
Audio is captured in high-quality MP3 format @ 64 KBPS for an unmistakable sound, and the 8 GB internal memory is ample storage to hold many hours above its total recording time. The microphone is very sensitive and capable of picking up conversations some 25 feet away and stamping each audio file with a time and date.
MICROPHONE SENSITIVITY LEVEL
The Air Freshener's microphone level can be adjusted; for example, decreasing the microphone sensitivity will reduce detecting unnecessary sounds like a cough, passing traffic, or a creaking door. Increasing the microphone's sensitivity will heighten the microphones detection when you absolutely need to capture everything.
INVISIBLE RECORDING MECHANISM
We understand that in some circumstances gathering audio evidence for sensitive situations need not be shouted from the rooftops; therefore, the Air Freshener is designed to look modest and without markings, flashing lights, beeping sounds, or moving parts while recording.
WINDOWS AND MAC COMPATIBLE
No special software is required to operate the Air Freshener. Both Windows and Mac computers are compatible with recharging the Air Freshener's battery and providing access and playback to the audio recordings. It should be noted that setting the time and date and adjusting the audio quality and microphone level must be done on a Windows computer.
Note: A USB mains plug (not supplied) is required to recharge the Air Freshener from a mains power, or you may optionally purchase a genuine Apple USB plug from the menu above. A USB mains plug is not a necessity; the Air Freshener can be charged through a computer, although at a much slower charging rate.

HOW DO I START / STOP THE RECORDING?
The rear cover must be removed to access the recording 'Black Box' with a small push-button and charging port. The recording mode is voice-activated, which means each time the Air Freshener's microphone detects sound above a pre-set threshold level, the recording will start. The recording will stop when the sound level drops below the threshold, and the audio file will be automatically stored.
Please note the Air Freshener cannot distinguish between a human voice, sound from a TV or other noises in the environment and record as and when the microphone detects sound.
ARE THERE VISIBLE INDICATORS LIKE LED'S WHILE RECORDING?
No. As the recording mechanism is digital, there are no flashing LED's, beeping sounds or any other apparent indicators while recording.
IS THERE A TIME AND DATE FOR EACH RECORDING?
Yes. The supplied software for Windows computers allows time and date setting, plus adjustment of the audio quality and microphone sensitivity.
WHAT IS THE AUDIO RECORDING FORMAT STORED IN?
Audio recordings are stored in high-quality MP3 format @ 64 KBPS which all Media Players support.

HOW ARE AUDIO RECORDINGS PLAYED BACK?
Remove the rear cover of the Air Freshener and connect the supplied USB cable to the black box and then to a computer. Once connected, the computer will begin to recharge the Air Freshener's battery and display the memory drive where the audio files are stored.
CAN I ACCESS AUDIO RECORDINGS ON A MAC COMPUTER?
