Does this light switch need to be connected to a mains power?
No. The light switch has an in-built fully rechargeable lithium battery. It simply sticks to the wall using the supplied 3M tape.
Does it look like a normal light switch?
The device is actually a PIR sensor of the same size and appearance of a standard wall light switch. It is difficult to notice from a distance especially if the device is wall mounted along a door frame just as a standard light switch would be.
What is the standby time?
A fully charged battery will power the light switch for approx five (5) days in standby mode.
How many hours recording time?
Approx five (5) hours.
Can I set the time / date?
Yes. You can set to UK time / date for evidential purposes.
Is the light switch motion activated?
Yes. Its primary setting is to record (discreetly) once movement is detected. You can also change the settings so the light switch just takes high-resolution (1600 x 1200) pictures instead of video footage.
Where can I get the recorded footage from?
Video footage is stored to an SD card inside the light switch. The maximum capacity the light switch can hold is a 32 GB SD card.
Can I play back the video recordings on my Apple Mac computer?
The contents recorded by the light switch stored to the SD card can be viewed on either Windows or Mac computers and any other SD card player.
Will it record audio?
Yes. The hidden spy camera is integrated with a microphone to provide clear audio as well.
Does the light switch camera record in colour?
Yes. The hidden camera will record in full colour.
Does the camera record smooth footage?
The camera has a 720P HD video resolution with 29 frames per second so the video footage and audio is excellent quality.
Can I use the light switch anywhere?

Wonderful...
Works amazing. I definitely and can't regret buying this. At first, I thought I'd need something stronger than the supplied sticky pads but I was amazed at how great the supplied sticky pads work. The perfect spy camera IMO.
