The Pro1207i is the ultimate professional hand-held RF Detector which will effectively locate hidden bugs operating between frequencies 824 MHz to 7.0 GHz. Using advanced digital technology, this device sweeps for specific transmitters including GSM audio, GPS tracking devices, UHF / VHF and FM carriers, and other types of overt / covert transmitting devices which can interrogate your privacy.

The sensitivity of a common RF detector (bug detector) is spread along a wide frequency range, usually between three (3), or even 6 - 7 GHz. This means the common bug detector struggles to detect such weak and non-continuous signals given off from such hidden devices that use Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or Wi-Max. Even more powerful signals like those from GSM-1800 are very difficult to detect because of their low sensitivity at higher frequency ranges.

A more reliable way to detect wireless protocols is to use pre-selector chips (saw filters) which attenuate all other signals except the desired ones. This is the method implemented in the Pro1207i which has six (6) channels covering ALL the different frequency ranges and therefore, simultaneously detecting all the different kinds of transmissions even from a much greater distance than other common RF detectors.

The unit incorporates multi-channel LED bar-graphs to indicate each transmitters signal strength and then omits an audio tone - thus enabling you to locate the transmitter.

The Pro1207i is capable of effectively identifying and locating transmitting signals from:
