The voice recorder has a secure in-built Wi-Fi transmitter which communicates to the supplied computer laptop by using its own two-way communication protocol. There are no third parties involved and no requirement to use any other WiFi connection - the mode of operation is virtually undetectable.
The recorder has an integrated four (4) GB flash memory which is enough to store over 300 hours of audio recordings at 8'000 KHz or 140 hours of audio recordings at 16'000 KHz. The highly sensitive omni-microphone provides outstanding audio recording quality and the on-board electronics allow data to be transferred from the recorder to your laptop at lightning speed - 24 hours of stored audio recordings can be remotely downloaded in just seven (7) minutes! Once downloaded, the recorders memory is free to store more recordings and will continue in this cycle for as long as the recorder is powered.

Back-up lithium power supply
The device has its own back-up lithium battery to provide continued operation for approx 30 hours in the event of a power failure whilst connected to a computer or mains wall socket. Once the external power supply has been regained, the back-up battery will recharge to full capacity in approx two (2) hours.
