This is a fully functional PURE digital radio that has been cleverly integrated with a hidden Internet spy camera providing a superb cost-effective solution for remotely monitoring your home / office environment over your standard Internet (Wi-Fi) connection.
The radio is powered from the mains supply which provides long-term remote surveillance without the need of batteries or to recharge the unit. Once placed within the target location the appearance is that of a normal digital radio - whilst providing cutting-edge viewing and recording capabilities.
Remote monitoring of the location can be done discreetly from your Windows / Mac computer or Apple iPhone or Android phone - at any time, and from anywhere in the World!
No technical skill required!
Unlike most IP systems, this digital radio requires absolutely NO technical skill to setup and operate. The supplied software is simply installed to your computer and automatically configures the IP camera to your Broadband connection - thus making the entire process child's play. From opening the box you can be monitoring your location in under 10 minutes!
The ability to manually watch and record LIVE over the Internet is in addition to the supplied PC based software's many features which include; motion detection recording, scheduled recording, and a sound detection alert pushed to your installed mobile app.
The motion detection feature also has audio monitoring therefore, should noise / sound be detected - the digital radio will automatically send you an email with a time / date stamped picture attachment. You can then remotely access the radio's hidden Wi-Fi spy camera from your computer web browser or your Apple iPhone to view the activity and / or record LIVE!
All recordings can be password protected and stored to the hard-drive of your computer to prevent unauthorised access. Recorded content is ready for instant play-back, or you can archive the footage as evidence or email to another recipient. The recordable storage is limited only by the size of your computer hard-drive therefore, weeks or months of recordings can be stored.

How is the radio powered?
You must plug the radio into a mains wall socket in order to power both the radio functions and hidden IP camera.
Can the radio be seen that it has hidden functionality?
No. The radio looks and operates just like a normal radio. This is ideal for long-term monitoring of your home / office for security and surveillance purposes.
Does the radio have night-vision?
Yes. This is an optional upgrade from the drop-down menu. Please remember that all night vision / invisible infa-red must have some form of LED's in which to illuminate the immediate area during low-light conditions. In the case of this radio, we have fitted three (3) small LED"s to the front fascia of the radio.

Do I need to configure my broadband settings for the radio to work?
No. The supplied software CD is installed to your computer and automatically configures the IP setup - eliminating any technical procedure. You are only required to input the Internet network security key (password) so the radio is authorised to use your existing Wi-Fi connection.
What if I don't have an internet connection at the location I wish to monitor?
We can modify the digital radio to fit a standard SIM card which means the video footage can be viewed / recorded over the SIM's GPRS data connection instead of a Wi-Fi connection. For UK customers we recommend the network '3' as this network offers unlimited data for as little as £12.50 per month WITHOUT A CONTRACT. Please contact us for this additional modification.
Where is the spy IP camera and audio microphone situated?
Cleverly situated behind the main fascia. An advantage of using this radio is that the front fascia which hides the camera can be pointed in any 360 degree viewing angle.
Does the radio have a motion activated camera?
Yes. You may switch ON / OFF this feature and all other security features from your login console. Once movement is detected (including audio), the radio will send you an email notification whilst recording the activities. The email notification will also contain a picture attachment allowing you to interrogate the target location in the event of unauthorised personnel access.
Where is the recorded footage stored?
Recordings are stored to the computer in which you have the software console installed. Recording times are dependant upon the storage capacity of the computer's hard-drive. A decent sized hard-drive can store many weeks or months of recording capability.
Are there any ongoing costs involved with this IP system?
There are no costs except those incurred by your existing broadband internet provider and those associated by SMS notification and the optional GSM connectivity module.
Does the broadband connection need to remain active and powered for the radio's camera to work?
Yes. Disconnecting the power supply to the radio or broadband connection will disable the purpose of the hidden IP camera's viewing and recording capability.
Does the computer in which I monitor the hidden IP camera need to remain connected to the Internet?
Yes. Viewing and recording is not possible if the computer is switched OFF.
Does the IP spy camera record in colour or black and white?
Wi-Fi recording and viewing is full colour at 640 x 480 resolution with audio.

Can I remotely watch events from another country?
Yes. The supplied viewing / recording console software can be installed to any Windows computer or Apple iPhone and used when travelling to any country Worldwide. Only an Internet connection is required.
Can I use the radio Worldwide?
Yes. Providing the correct and sufficient power supply is used.

wifi radio
Very excited it performed as well as it does the video and audio is very very clear. Impossible to see the camera lens so I know this is good technology.
