This fully functional Entry Level Smoke Detector will compliment any home or office environment without drawing any attention thus ensuring that any perpertrator is caught in the act. This smoke detector does require fixing to the ceiling via the supplied brackets and powered by a DC 12v 400mA battery (not supplied) however, once fitted correctly is then ready to record upon motion detection for a total recording time of 64hrs even under very low light conditions. All recorded video footage is accompanied with audio plus a time & date stamp as evidential proof.

The smoke detector is integrated with a high resolution Sony CCD camera with very low lux illumination allowing the camera to record in full colour during the day and then aid the camera to record in Black & White recording during the night.

The cameras illuminator also projects a wide field of view over 20ft away aiding the camera to record under very low light conditions and giving absolutely no indication recording is taking place.

The smoke detector can be used in almost any room environment and has to be one of the most discreet hidden cameras for the imagination.

Motion detection recording.
In motion detection mode (default setting) the smoke detector will remain ready to record the moment it detects movement. Recording will take place until there is no further movement and then the smoke detector will save the recorded footage to a hidden SD card. This cycle will continue until either the powered battery drains or the SD card is full. You can also select to record in "loop mode" meaning when 64hrs is recorded, the older video footage will be recorded over again.

Manual recording.
In manual recording mode the smoke detector will remain ready to record the moment you press "record" on the supplied remote control. Recording will continue until you press to stop recording on the remote control or until either the powered battery drains or the SD card is full. You can also select to record in "loop mode" meaning when the SD card is full, the recording continues by recording over the earliest video footage.

Schedule recording.
In schedule recording mode the smoke detector will only start recording and stop recording under the given times and dates you have previously configured to the radio during any setup procedure.

At your leisure, you can play back any recorded footage by removing the hidden SD card and play back the footage through your computers Windows Media Player. Easy access to the hidden SD card means that you do not need to take down the smoke detector once fitted.

Please Note: The smoke detector unit you receive may differ slightly from the picture illustrated depending on the availabilty of smoke detectors at the time.
