The Sniperbox is no ordinary recording unit but rather a specially designed heavy duty solution for intense covert monitoring and recording over extended periods of surveillance. Sniperbox is a completely self-contained device (about the size of a standard house brick) and incorporated with advanced power saving technology which means Sniperbox can be hidden in almost any environment, under any weather conditions including violent thunderstorms and hosepipe watering whilst performing reliably for up to 12 months before a recharge is required.

Sniperbox is integrated with a full colour CCD camera with integrated infa-red, capable of capturing facial and/ or license plate recognition from five (5) meters during day or night recording. There is no other product that comes close and is the perfect solution to aid evidential events including fly-tipping, police crime scenes, woodland parks, business sites, farms, factories, gardens, plant machinery and vehicles with a time and date stamp.

Sniperbox is extremely easy to use and is activated / deactivated via an internal button although this can be done remotely via an optional keyfob. Once armed, Sniperbox will continuously remain active silently capturing any movement detected from over 10 meters away with a detailed recognition up to 5 meters. The SMS version of Sniperbox will remotely notify you via text message once motion is detected and all recordings are stored with a tamper-proof time and date stamp as evidence.

Sniperbox has a storage capacity to hold a four (4) GB SD memory card which is over 7 hours of wide angled recordings at 25 frames per second or 36 hours of footage at five (5) frames per second either continuously or in bursts of motion detection until whoever / whatever leaves the vicinity. Sniperbox will then power down in active mode waiting for further activity. This potentially means weeks, even months of recordings are possible.

To playback recordings, simply remove the SD Card from inside the Sniperbox unit and insert into any PC with a SD Card slot. The supplied software supports both Windows XP and Vista operating systems and enables easy search and playback control. You cannot view any footage stored on the SD card without the supplied software.

Sniperbox is IP65 compliant meaning the most extreme weather conditions will not effect the operating mechanism. Sniperbox can be hidden in any environment either indoors or outdoors under shrubbery, or concealed with a camouflage netting or even fixed securely to a flat solid surface via 4x 6mm fixings which are located outside the rugged enclosure.

This unit is customisable to your requirements
The Sniperbox when used as a stand-alone recorder is a great unit however, it is possible to add a host of additional functions depending on the environment.

With text message alerts
Add this feature to be alerted upon movement detection via an SMS which is sent to your mobile phone. This provides you with ample time to catch the perpetrator in the act.

With separate PIR
Add this item to trigger the Sniperbox to start recording. For example, place the PIR at the foot of your front driveway and once triggered by movement the Sniperbox will start recording at the back of your garden.

With Infa-red
Add this feature to illuminate the immediate area under dark conditions once the Sniperbox is triggered upon movement. The infa-red is invisible to the naked eye.

With separate solar charging
Add this item so the Sniperbox automatically recharges itself during daylight. This means incredibly long standby time.

With camouflage netting
Add this item to throw over the Sniperbox to hide its appearance. This looks even better in woodland or shrubbery areas.

With separate camera on lead
Add this item for example to bury the Sniperbox underground so only the camera lead is visible. This is great for use in situations to catch perpetrators in graveyards, wooded areas or confined areas where the Sniperbox needs to be hidden.
