Iconic Spy Car Goes Up For Auction
Anybody who is into their spy gear and surveillance equipment would probably take a keen interest in an auction that is taking place in the United States in the near future.
James Bond was the ultimate fictional spy and it has now been reported that the Aston Martin DB5 that was used in the Goldfinger movie is to be auctioned off. The car is one of two original models that were driven by Sean Connery to make the film.
Not only was this DB5 the ultimate in James Bond cool, it was also a hi-tech piece of spy equipment. The Aston Martin has a few of the film’s important spy features including oil slick and smokescreen producers, a bullet proof shield, rotating number plates and an ejector seat.
The car is expected to command a fee in the region of $5 million when it goes up for auction.
